Although I guess you could argue that since the original game hails from that country, perhaps they wanted to get those fans excited first before attempting to get us interested.

Nonetheless the Japanese trailer actually gave me some hope for the film because of the way it was cut, it seemed (as most trailers do) to show the best bits and as far you could see from that specific trailer there wasn’t anything overtly bad about it. But this new English language trailer has instantly killed any hopes I had.
