John McClane from the Die Hard films is probably his trademark role (although some might say it’s David Addison from TV’s Moonlighting) and throughout the last twenty years he has been synonymous with the action genre. That isn’t about to change anytime soon.

Willis has been in discussions to star in no less than three new action films – three new editions to a pending slate that already includes A Couple of Dicks (set to be directed by Kevin Smith) and Kane and Lynch.

The three latest films are serial killer flick Inventory, mobster movie Scarpa and CIA pic Red .

According to The Hollywood Reporter:

“In Inventory, Willis, who is in negotiations for the role, would play a detective on the trail of a murderer.
