Professor Marston and the Wonder Woman tells the true story of psychologist William Marston, the creator of DC Comics' female superhero, Wonder Woman. The movie progresses from his early days to the end of his life. It highlights the events that led to the development of the character, including the unconventional polygamous relationship that caused him to lose his university job and forced him to find a new way to sustain himself.
