Hey, thanks for the suggestions on renaming Screen Rant’s weekly podcast! I’ve decided to go with regular commenter Chip Chief’s suggestion and from here on it this will be called:

The Weekly Rant

This week’s podcast does indeed include a rant regarding who movie critics write their reviews for (other critics or the public?) plus my thoughts on Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Also covered this week is news about the new Batsuit from The Dark Knight, talk about the possibility of Samuel L. Jackson playing Nick Fury in Iron Man, the first official pic of Harrison Ford from the set of the new Indiana Jones movie, and more!

Ok folks, here is my second try at podcasting.

This time I’ve provided an MP3 file using Audacity as recommended by a commenter. I tried using Odeo, but for some reason I couldn’t get the recording to start. This will no doubt take me a few weeks before I settle down into a standard format.

Anyway, I’ve covered the highlights from this week in the podcast including a mini-review of Grindhouse and the reasons it tanked at the box office. Also some Spider-Man 3 tidbits, my thoughts on the possible Scanners remake, David Goyer’s Super-Max movie, the wickedly cool Iron Man armor and more!

First Attempt At A Podcast…

I don’t know if this qualifies as a podcast or not, but it’s my first ever try at it. I’m sure that it’s probably not placed here on the site correctly, I don’t know if it will show up in the Newsfeed and it doesn’t have any snazzy intro music. It’s in the format of a .mov file instead of an mp3, and it seems like a pretty big file for the short amount of time that it lasts.

If anyone has any tips on how to do this properly, please either comment below or email me at the link in the upper right hand corner of the page.
