Summary
Persona 5 marks the fifth mainline entry in the franchise, where players take control of a young man wronged by society who stumbles into the power to change his fortune. When the protagonist is accused of a crime he didn't commit, he is sent to Tokyo on probation to attend a new school under the watchful eye of a new guardian. Soon, he stumbles into the power of "Persona," a reflection of one's inner self that gives them the power to fight back against the world's evils. Players will go through an entire year attending classes and entering shadow realms to "steal the hearts" of evil adults hoping to change their ways and society while tangled in an even more dangerous conspiracy than they could have imagined.
