Summary
In M. Night Shyamalan's After Earth, 1,000 years following humanity's forced evacuation of Earth, estranged father Cypher (Will Smith) and son Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) crash land on human kind's one-time home planet. In the process, Cypher is heavily wounded and it is up to Kitai to strike into the wilds of future Earth, facing highly evolved animal species and a ruthless alien life form in order to call for help.
