Colin Firth Is The Top Choice To Headline ‘My Fair Lady’ Remake

No one’s quite as delightfully British as Colin Firth, and the 50-year-old star looks to at last snag an acting Oscar for his turn in The King’s Speech at this month’s Academy Awards ceremony. It comes as little surprise then that Sony reportedly wants him to headline its long in development remake of the classic musical, My Fair Lady.

Keira Knightley has previously been rumored to reunite with her Atonement and Pride and Prejudice director Joe Wright for the project, but now it seems that Carey Mulligan will play the new incarnation of Miss Eliza Doolittle onscreen instead, under the guidance of John Madden (Shakespeare in Love).

Sandra Bullock’s The Blind Side just keeps doing better and better. Hey Guys welome to another Weekend Movie Wrap Up. I know, I know -I’m late, but it’s because of the new site and my time difference here in the UK. However, it’s better late than never!

This week in our video game driven segment we look at :

Leonardo DiCaprio running Atari, who will be joing Jake Gyllenhaal in Prince of Persia, Bruce Willis signs up for Kane and Lynch, Keira Knightley is the new Audrey Hepburn and Merlin decides to recapture that old magic in Roundtable.

1. Leonardo DiCaprio is attached to Atari. The film follows the life of Nolan Bushnell – the creator of Atari. Paramount purchased the script in the hope that DiCaprio will star in the film and produce it through his Appian Way production Company.
