L.A. Gothic: John Carpenter Returns To The Big Screen!

John Carpenter is making a welcome return to the big screen with L.A. Gothic. It’s Carpenter’s first film since Ghost’s of Mars in 2001. Since then Hollywood has been plundering his past films for remake material, and Carpenter has been making sure that his directorial skills don’t seize up by directing the occasional episode of Masters of Horror.

ShockTillYouDrop is reporting that casting is now underway for the film which is described as:

“Five interwoven stories of high-octane horror centering on a vengeful ex-priest’s efforts to protect his teenage daughter from the supernatural evils of L.A.’s dark side.”

The film was written pre-strike by Jim Agnew and Sean Keller.
