New ‘Skyfall’ Set Photos & ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ Images

James Bond (Daniel Craig) will facing dark secret’s of his boss M’s (Judi Dench) past in the 23rd James Bond flick, Skyfall, while a fair-skinned princess (Kristen Stewart) will team with a rough-and-rugged hunter (Chris Hemsworth) and his band of warrior dwarves to battle an evil sorceress (Charlize Theron) in Snow White and the Huntsman, the medieval fantasy re-imagining of the classic fairy tale.

Today we have new photos of Daniel Craig filming an action scene on the Skyfall set, as well as two new official SWATH (gotta love that acronym) images, which depict Theron’s evil queen doing a beauty check, as well as a first good look at the re-imagined version of Prince Charming, as portrayed by Pirates of the Caribbean 4 star Sam Claflin.

First ‘Skyfall’ Image: James Bond Infiltrates Shanghai

It’s the 50-year anniversary of the James Bond movie franchise, and with it comes the 23rd installment, titled Skyfall, a new adventure with the Daniel Craig incarnation of 007. Joining the actor this time around are numerous Oscar-winners and nominees, a younger version of Q, and two new snazzy Bond girls – all of whom are players in a mysterious plot that involves M’s (Judi Dench) dangerous past threatening the future of MI6.

Many Bond fans were confused (though several were definitely pleased) by a previously-released pic from Skyfall that features a half-naked Bond brooding poolside. Today, we have the first officially sanctioned image from the film, which captures Craig as 007 in more of an intimidating pose.

Immediately following his win at the 2012 Golden Globes ceremony, ubiquitous fan-favorite Idris Elba was hit up by journalists wanting to know more about his upcoming film schedule, which could possibly include both Marvel’s Thor 2 and The Avengers, as well as the James Bond franchise somewhere down the road (if rumor mongering is anything to go by).

Elba is currently back in Toronto, where he’s working on filmmaker Guillermo del Toro’s anticipated sci-fi/giant monster movie, Pacific Rim. However, before he departed the Globes event, the English actor dropped a few tidbits about which upcoming movies he will for certain show up in – as well as which ones remain possibilities.

Ralph Fiennes’ ‘Skyfall’ Character Revealed At Last?

There is still a good deal of mystery surrounding the newest installment in the James Bond series, Skyfall, despite the basic plot line having already been revealed. However, actor Ralph Fiennes’ role remains perhaps the most intriguing puzzle piece that has yet to fall into place.

Rumors have long been circulating that Fiennes could be up to play iconic Bond antagonist Blofeld – or, rather, someone who is that character in all but name (for legal reasons). Similarly, there’s been speculation that Fiennes may be playing a figure from M’s (Judi Dench) past who is responsible for the MI6 being “under attack” and is somehow connected to the enigmatic villain being portrayed by Javier Bardem.

Daniel Craig In Talks To Portray James Bond 5 More Times

Since principal photography commenced on the (delayed) new Daniel Craig James Bond flick, Skyfall, the public’s attention has been focused foremost on the film’s production – and not on the matter of how many more Bond movies will feature Craig’s iteration of the iconic super-spy.

Increasingly-popular actors like Henry Cavill, Idris Elba, and Michael Fassbender have all expressed interest in picking up the Bond mantle once Craig’s run as the character is complete. However, according to a new report, franchise staple producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli want to keep Craig onboard for the next decade (or maybe even longer).

Martin Cambell may have let us down this summer with Green Lantern but there’s no debating his masterful job in rejuvenating the James Bond franchise with Daniel Craig as the new 007 in 2006′s Casino Royale. It not only earned the love of fans new and old with a grounded take on the British super spy, but it earned a sequel, one that wasn’t so well received.

‘Skyfall’ Set Pics: James Bond’s Rendezvous With Agent Eve

After many delays caused the MGM Studios bankruptcy, the next James Bond movie – entitled Skyfall - is currently in production. Up until now, images from the set of the film have included such exciting bits as dirty bathrooms and clapperboards. Today, however, we have a more substantial look at Skyfall to share.

If you haven’t been up on the developments with this latest Bond flick, here’s a brief synopsis of Skyfall:

Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

James Bond ‘Skyfall’ Finds Its Q

One character that has yet to pop up in the rebooted James Bond universe (first established in Casino Royale) is “Q,” MI6′s resident tinkerer who creates all the wonderful spy gadgets that Bond uses in his perennial quest to thwart evil and save the world.

Q’s four decades’ worth of onscreen appearances have largely been monopolized by actor Desmond Llewelyn (who passed away in 1999), with the last onscreen iteration of the character having been inhabited by John Cleese in the 2002 Bond film, Die Another Day. However, as with many aspects of the rebooted Bond, the character of Q is getting an injection of some new (read: young) blood in the upcoming Bond flick, Skyfall.

‘Skyfall’ First Image & Casting Announcements; Ralph Fiennes as Blofeld?

In spite of being the third film in Daniel Craig’s tenure as James Bond, Skyfall has already received an unusually large amount of fanfare and media attention (especially considering it’s a year away from release).

Perhaps that’s due to the fact that it’s the 50th anniversary of the very first Ion Bond, Dr. No?

Now, days after the official announcement, we have additional casting announcements, the very first set image, and hints from co-star Ralph Fiennes that he’ll be playing either “Blofeld” or someone Blofeld-esque.

‘James Bond 23′ Titled ‘Skyfall’; Official Plot & Character Details [Updated]

EON Productions held a press conference overseas in London to announce the beginning of principal photography on the 23rd installment in the James Bond franchise, which is being directed by Oscar-winner Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Jarhead) and will once again feature Daniel Craig in the role of 007.

Mendes, alongside Craig and his fellow cast members Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, and Javier Bardem, dropped a few tantalizing tidbits of information – including confirmation that the new Bond flick will indeed (as has been heavily rumored in recent weeks) be titled… Skyfall.

A press conference for Oscar-winner Sam Mendes’ still officially-untitled James Bond movie (the 23rd installment in the blockbuster spy thriller franchise) is scheduled to take place at Pinewood Studios next week. It is expected that there will not only be some official confirmation of the many casting announcements revealed up to now, but that the film’s actual title shall also (at last) be revealed.

However, in the meantime, we have yet another casting tidbit – one that suggests Mendes’ 007 flick will indeed boast more highly-respected and decorated thespians than any previous entry in the series.

It’s long been rumored (and pretty much assumed) that Javier Bardem would have a role in the next James Bond film, which is still going under the working title James Bond 23. Word had it that he would be playing some kind of villain role, but wether it was a mastermind or thug-type villain was unknown.

Well, we now have confirmation of one thing: Bardem is indeed going to be sharing the screen with Daniel Craig’s James Bond.

A few weeks back we learned that the next James Bond movie – still tentatively titled Bond 23 - would involve a major action set piece involving 007 hopping trains along the Indian Railways transit system. Later we learned that said train sequence could in fact be the big opening set piece of the film, if Bond 23 is based on the novel Carte Blanche, as has been rumored.

However, it now seems that the sequence in question has been derailed into rewrite because of…freeloading train passengers?

James Bond 23 Titled ‘Carte Blanche’? Plot Details Revealed?

The latest rumor concerning Sam Mendes’ upcoming James Bond film (tentatively referred to as Bond 23) suggests that the flick may indeed have an official title – and will be based on previously-published Bond literature, a la Casino Royale.

Bearing in mind that although the following should be considered strictly RUMOR until further notice, this particular story fits in nicely with the few tidbits of information we’ve been given about Bond 23, up to this point.

A recent article from Blic Online has revealed that Serbian cellist Jelena Mihailovic was approached by Mendes and his fellow Bond producers to work on the opening theme for 007′s latest venture.
