Really Bad Idea: Ferris Bueller 2

Matthew Broderick then and nowOne of my favorite movies is Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It's one of those quirky comedies where everything hits just right: The right actors, story, music... just everything. The story of devil-may-care character Ferris Bueller (played at the time by 24 year old Matthew Broderick) and his quest to loosen up his wound-way-too-tight best friend Cameron Frye (Alan Ruck) is now considered a classic. Admittedly, the ending of the movie really begs for a revisit of the characters at some point later in their lives, but can anyone really be trusted to capture lightning in a bottle for the second time?

I seriously doubt it.
