Detroit (2017)

From the director of The Hurt Locker comes Detroit, a historical crime-drama film that explores the Detroit police riots that occurred in 1967, which lasted multiple days and led to several deaths. When the Detroit P.D. raids an unlicensed club, the attendees begin to protest, leading to the beginning of the riots. What follows is a terrifying account of the lives of several people, including officers, an R&B group, and everyday citizens trying to make sense of the chaos.
