After the huge opening weekend of Iron Man, nobody should be surprised to hear a Shellhead sequel has been greenlit for a summer 2010 release - April 30, 2010 to be exact.

No, ladies and germs, the surprise is that Marvel Films has come outright and announced their entire slate of projects from now to 2011.

Will Captain America's Return Desecrate The Character?

Written on October 11, 2007 by Vic Holtreman

Click here for a better look at the new, gun-toting Captain AmericaA whopping nine months after the killing off Captain America, Marvel Comics is resurrecting the character, sort of, in issue #34.

It seems that Steve Rogers, the iconic character who still believed in America and mom's apple pie is far too antiquated for these modern times (that are such a vast improvement, don't you think?).

Not only will there be a new person wearing the (previously) red, white and blue costume, the costume will be new as well. Much of it will be black and the upper part appears to be some sort of metallic/chrome material. The new look was designed by artist Alex Ross, well known for bringing a sense of realism to superhero art.

Op-Ed: Cast Colin Ferguson as Captain America!

Written on September 3, 2007 by Heath McKnight

Colin Ferguson and Captain AmericaAfter watching Eureka for two years now, I recently had the thought that Colin Ferguson (Sheriff Carter) should star in the planned Captain America movie as ol' Cap himself.

Ferguson has an all-American look, he's a great actor, has a strong voice and is someone who commands every scene he's in.

What I also love about Ferguson as an actor is his ability to show a serious side as well as a humorous side (sometimes in the same scene), which is a must on a show like Eureka.

Here's a quick breakdown of what's in the pipeline beyond what's already currently in production: Wolverine, Magneto, Punisher 2, Silver Surfer, Sub-Mariner, Thor, Avengers (maybe) and Captain America. Whew!
