I loved this epi. It was funny and I didn't hate the new guy like I thought I would. Of course, thank the stars for Myka returning :)
Yes, I did catch the $25,000 Pyramid reference at the beginning.

I really think that the ensemble is coming together. I've always been a fan of Rubinek's and the principle investigators are interesting too. We have a lot to learn about Mrs. Frederick, past investigators for the Warehouse and much more in the mythology.

I'm a little late posting on this one, but... WOW! I'll admit that the first episode wasn't one that knocked it out of the ballpark for me. I found the opening a little slower, and I was crazy about some of the direction when it came to providing backstory for the main characters. The second half of the first episode made up for a lot of the first half's sins, though.

As for episode two... DAMN! I was shocked at how much I loved it. They're already hitting their stride with this show, and that says a lot for something that isn't coming out of an already established franchise. The tidbits that hint at a season/series-long storyline/mystery... Oh, I'm definitely on board with that and what to see what happens with it.

This show has a very good cast, with well-developed characters and setting. I'm looking forward to getting "lost in the warehouse" a lot more.

Indeed GARY.

The Secret Service was created back in 1865 for the Treasury Dept to pursue counterfeiting rings.

Ah, I remember that day... oops, I guess I can't give those kinds of things away.

The Secret Service has an interesting history .
It would be nice if the search for one of the artifacts were somehow connected to that history.
Just a thought.
I will continue to watch anyway.
Cool show.

I knew this review was coming, Bruce, and well done. This show is defanitely on my DvR. I wouldn't classify all the objects as paranormal though; maybe paranormal/unusual science. The recording used sound in an unsual way and the camera....who the heck knows. :-)
