Supernatural Season 6: “You Can’t Handle the Truth” Spoilers Discussion

2 years ago by Anthony Ocasio

supernatural season 6 plot revealed Supernatural Season 6: You Can’t Handle the Truth Spoilers Discussion

Tonight, Supernatural introduces another one of God’s missing weapons from heaven. This time, it’s Gabriel’s horn. With people dying from brutal honesty, that has to be the culprit. Unfortunately, Castiel takes two seconds to comb over the now honest city and realizes that it’s not the horn that’s affecting people. Still, people are dying and there has to be answers.

Of course, from the previous episode of Supernatural, we already know that it is Veritas, the goddess of truth, and she’s not playing around. While the Winchester brother’s may be fine any other time, with Dean sniffing around Sam’s odd behaviors, there’s no better time to find out what’s really happening to his brother than now. Let’s just hope that Dean doesn’t pay for those answers with his life.

I guess it’s true what they say, Hell does change you.

Preview

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a series of suicides and discover the victims were being told brutal truths that drove them crazy.  They find out someone is invoking the Goddess of Truth, Veritas, forcing people to be cruelly honest against their will and Dean is the next victim.  Dean is forced to tell Sam the truth about how he feels about his return from Hell.

Dude, really makes you wonder what’s wrong with Sam when he’s able to lie to the Pagan God of Truth, a being that you CAN’T lie to.

Otherwise, very plot-heavy. Loved that Bobby gets a weekly pedicure and his man-crush on Tori Spelling was hilarious.

    It’s official: Dean’s the favorite.

Loved this episode so much. It was good to see everything I can’t think of any moment I didn’t enjoy. Was a little disappointed to see Dean lose his family, but it made sense with in the story at least.

By the way from episode one I called it Sam lost his soul. Been saying it since Episode one.

      I’ve been saying it too.

It was obvious. Decent episode, not as good as last weeks though. Always good to see Cas.

It just pissed me off was all. Cas not really wanting to help Sam..Dean had to practically beg him for it. The conversation with Lisa made me mad as well. The ending was satisfying though :)

Okay, Sam got no soul. In the preview you see him being tortured by Castiel to proove that. But there are some more questions: Who has got the soul? Why did he lie to Dean (again)? What knows Samuel? Why looks Corin Nemec so old? What happened to Adam, Michael and Chuck? Is there a chance to get Gabriel back in the show? I don´t dare to ask for J.D. Morgan. I think he is too busy. Is Sam an alpha? And if so of what species? Was it god who pulled him out of hell? Is there anything stronger than god and lucifer? Questions over questions.

Nemec has no business on the show. I never cared for the brother Adam storyline really..

Well I think it may be Death pulling the strings, because of the stuff he said last season in episode 21!
