Supernatural Season 6 ‘All Dogs Go to Heaven’ Spoilers Discussion

Published 4 years ago by , Updated June 27th, 2013 at 3:12 pm,

Last week’s episode of Supernatural put everything in its place for season 6. Sam, who has no soul, was ripped out of Hell by Crowley. Additionally, Crowley also pulled Samuel out of Hell to do his bidding. Who, in this case, is trying to find the location of Purgatory. Unfortunately, while Crowley was ripping Sam out of his Lucifer cage, he made sure to leave Sam’s soul in there, for insurance purposes.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot! The rest of Samuel’s family had already been taken over by demons. So, Sam and Dean is all he has left.

Phew! Who would have thought all that would have come out of a single episode of the show? Well, considering it’s November sweeps, one might have had suspicions.

With that, the skinwalkers return to Supernatural. Although, this time, they’ve decided to take on a “different” form. After Sam and Dean find out that the skinwalkers are rocking the canine look, in an attempt to overthrow the world with sleeper cells, they have to seek out their original Alpha nemesis, the Alpha skinwalker.

Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) investigate what seems to be a werewolf killing but turns out to be a skinwalker (guest star Andrew Rothenberg) posing as a family dog who is taking revenge on his owner’s enemies. After capturing the dog, he turns human and tells Sam and Dean that an Alpha skinwalker has created many sleeper cells that will rise on his command and kill their families. The only way to stop the mass murders is to find and kill the Alpha.

  1. They are starting to over do the Alpha thing a bit much. I wanna see more of the Gods Weapons arc too.

  2. I’m enjoying this season more and more every episode. This week was great.. Funny thing I never really been a fan of Sam, but this week I loved him the bit with the ball was hilarious. Can’t wait for next week. I’ve been a defender of season 6 since it started against all the naysayers and now that most people are starting to come around I feel a little happier. I can say that before I expected it to end at the end of 6, but every week I find my self hoping for a season 7 more and more.

  3. I liked this episode but so far my favorite one was the one with Bobby.

    • i knew the boys should have held onto the bones for insurance purposes LOL.

  4. good episode,I like that it was a dog that was bit and became a man

  5. Weakest episode of a truly weak season, every time I think the show is back on track it kicks out average stuff like this.

The monsters this season have been so dull it’s unbelievable, the monster in this episode was a dog!!! And it wasn’t even funny!

    • Oh, i don’t know. Dean still manages to make me laugh with his ability to creatively use the term “dick”. Dickbag was a new one for me.

While this season is a bit slower, it’s nothing compared to season 4, which IMO, was the worst of them all. I’m liking that Sam is a little meaner and not so whiney, but i’m not happy that Dean has taken his place always calling Bobby and complaining that Sam doesn’t seem right. maybe Sam’s revelation of telling Dean he doesn’t care will put the show back on track and eventually get his soul back. I’m loving Crowley. Those darn toasters are showing up everywhere these days. :)

  6. I am ultimately dissapointed with this season and wish that last season’s finale was the series finale; and in many ways it was for me. This season thus far has had a very poor and greatly dragged out storyline and has lost all the emotion that makes supernatural the great show that it was. What we are getting our more standalone episodes and going for a hit or miss approach. I mean the dog episode was actually not bad and I thought that the episode where Dean turns into a vampire was not bad but aside from that I think that season is not going too well at all. What happened to the demons aside from Crowly? Where is Meg? (she was still alive last season) Less Castiel, why? Shouldn’t the weopons of heaven being stolen have a greater impact on the show? Sam lost his, ok but how long are they going to drag this out, we all know that he will get it back.

The show shoudl end of this season, tie up any loose ends and redeem yourself with a good finale.

  7. I really don’t want the show to end. I can’t stand the thought of it. I’ve watched every single episode the night it aired since it’s debut. But I HATE the Lisa storyline with Dean. I mean, I just can’t stand her. I think we’re all feeling the loss of Eric Krippe. When the series does end, I don’t want Sam or Dean getting married off. I just want the boys to drive off into the sunset, together, rocking out in the Impala, and in search of their next hunt. I want them happy

    • So you don’t want the characters to evolve or grow in anyway what so ever you want it to end in a way that makes the last six years pointless as if they didn’t happen at all?

You want Dean happy and yet don’t want him to have what makes him happy? The family is what dean wants he want a normal life it’s what he’s wanted for years he won’t be happy with out Lisa and Ben.

  8. Come back Eric!!! I remember in an interview Eric said every episode should be it’s own horror movie w/ great tunes. That is clearly not happening now. Female writing has turned this into a soap opera…boring monologue building up to reunion finale?? No thanks.
I think it would be great if Bobby turned out to be GOD!! It’s a bad season when us fans come up with better ideas than the writers:(

  9. I like the idea of people turning into dogs. In the episode it was said many sleeper cells were made. Hard to believe that they won’t cause any more trouble.
