supernatural2 Supernatural: Clips & Info From Tonights Return

After almost two months without a new episode of Supernatural, I’m starting to get Winchester fever (it’s like cabin fever, but in this case the cabin is replaced by gun-toting, evil smiting brothers). It’s gotten so bad that I even resorted to reading Supernatural novels. Finally, the wait is over and it’s time to return to the battle between good and evil. For those that can’t wait until tonight, we’ve got some clips for you.

[SPOILER ALERT] With the deaths of Jo and Ellen still on their conscience, the brothers Winchester find solace in returning to what they know best – kicking some supernatural butt. This time it won’t be so easy as Sam and Dean have to get themselves admitted to a mental hospital.

“Sam, Interrupted”

A former hunter named Martin (guest star), who is currently institutionalized, calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help investigating a case in the mental hospital. The brothers get themselves admitted as patients to check out the mysterious monster that is attacking the patients, but their incarceration pushes both to the breaking point as they unleash their inner demons against each other.

While I’d be happy with any new episode, I’m glad that it’s another “imprisoned” episode. For some reason the episodes that find the brothers in a locked-down environment are always just a tad above the already high bar that Supernatural sets in terms of excellence.

Alright, alright… Here are the clips already.

Rubber gloves are never fun

Sam & Dean go crazy – for real

Even though I’m almost positive that this has nothing to do with the Devil storyline, I’m still glad to see the brothers back. There’s enough time (and episodes) left to deal with all the devil stuff and for the devil to take over Sam’s body (you know it’s going to happen).

Until then, let’s stick with this episode. What do you think? Are you excited? How can you not be?

Make sure to check back later as we’ll be having a review & discussion of tonight’s episode.

  1. Sounds great, alothough I am dissapointed that the episode will not revolve around the main plot of the show, with the devil storyline. But as stated there definately are many episodes left in the season to get to that. I like that someone else is also on board for the notion that the devil WILL in fact have to to take over Sam's body. I'm still hoping that thsi is the last season becaus eas I have said before there really is not much more they can do to top this.

  2. thank god Supernatural has returned. cant wait for tonight.
i am i the only one who thinks that John is going to come back as God's vessel ??
i mean if sam's The Devil & Dean's michael , i would assume there Father would come Via John Winchester.

I agree about the whole John Winchester being God's vessel. It would DEF make sense. In addition we know for sure that the actor playing JOhn Winchster will be back this season and you know its going to be big, what else could be bigger than him being God's vessel

  4. aaah im so looking forward to this!!:D:D i wish i cud see the episodes already!:(
oh well, i started watching from season 1 again xD was awesome:D and now im on season 4 so i might start watching this after season 4 maybe? hm, cuase i dont wanna mix it up u know: ^^ oh well, we'll see.

  5. Even when it doesn't seem like it has anything to do with the main plot of the season, it always does. Remember Changing Channels…? =)

  6. “Changing Channels” was such a great episode. I love how they worked the trickster back into it. That episode reminded me of the great 80's movie “Stay Tuned” with John Ritter
