supernatural season 6 Supernatural: Cupid Attacks & UK Promos Rock!

With Valentines Day just around the corner, it’s time to celebrate with Supernatural and everyone’s favorite brothers named after a gun maker. That’s right, the Winchester boys are back and they’re on the hunt for love! Well, not so much love as the angel Cupid, but if they can nab a couple of his magic arrows who knows what will happen.

Still, don’t shun Cupid completely as things may not be what they appear. Is the angel of love out for vengeance or could one of the four horseman be in town to cause trouble? If you’re a fan of Supernatural, you know that both of these are viable options. Who knows, maybe they’re one in the same and Cupid is really one of the four horseman.

Only tonight’s episode of Supernatural will tell. Check out some of the clips below and make sure to stick around because we’ve got the UK promoting the fifth season of Supernatural by setting things on fire!

Supernatural – My Bloody Valentine

Cupid Likes To Hug – Without Any Clothes On

My favorite part was in the second clip when Dean turns to Castiel and says, “Is this a fight? Are we in a fight?” I actually laughed out loud when I watched that.

UK Promos

For those in the US, we often forget that other countries are further behind us in seasons. Take Supernatural, the fifth season just started this past week on Living TV and to help promote the premiere they did something amazing… they opened the gates of hell and unleashed fire and brimstone onto the Marble Arch in London, England… and burned that thing to the ground.

Alright, maybe they didn’t actually burn it to the ground, but they sure made it look like that’s what happened. See for yourself, it’s great! (Thanks to Tom for the tip!)

How great was that?!? Why don’t we get things like that over here in America? It’s just not fair… it’s just not fair. Even though it was really awesome, I don’t think I’d trade having to wait six extra months to watch Supernatural when I know that other people are already enjoying it.

Does tonight’s episode put you in the mood for love? Do you wish someone over here could pretend to burn something down like Living TV did in the UK?

Catch Supernatural Thursday nights @9PM on The CW and if you’re in the UK, check your listings for when it airs on Living TV.

  1. Well, one thing I didn't expect to see in the first 3 minutes of an episode involving Cupid is cannibalism. Chalk that up to a Supernatural first.

  2. The first scene was trully grotesque. I dont know how they allow something like that on netwwork tv. Aside from that the episode was pretty good as usual. I liked the fact that they introduced another horseman to us and I hope that they continue to bring in the others. I think the only one we have yet to hear of is pestilence. (pestilence, in case you dont know, is a infectious type of diesease that can cause a pandemic to break out) We heard mention of 'death” because that is who Lucifer was raising in the final episode before winter sweeps. Still no mention of pestilence though and I think that that horseman may be teh most powerful because he can ultimately destroy humanity a lot quicker than any of the other horsemen; he is probably the one that spreads the Croatocian virus (or however you pronounce it) in the episode “The End”. It makes a great deal of sense. I think that the next time we see Lucifer we will also likely see War becaus ethe last time we saw Lucifer he was raising War.

I love the show, but I hope that they start to show more Lucifer an drevolve the next 5-10 episodes on the plot. I mean its the apocolypse, what could be bigger? We need more plot episodes. This last one was good because it ha dto do with teh central storyline but we need to see more of Lucifer and see what he is scheming because if I remember correctly he has only been in 4 episodes, and barerly even in those episodes. So far the season has been nothing short of stellar, but I suggest, and believe, that it is time to pick up the pace

BTW….I stand by the fact that I believe that Sam and Dean's dad will appear at some point in the season in the form of God (likely appear to Dean)….watch and see

  3. We are awesome. Although Living suck and ITV2 are effin traitors….dumping Supernatural for Vampire Diaries….

    I'm glad it's back though!

  4. That was absolutely disgusting…I loved it!

  5. I haven't seen last night's episode yet, so I can't comment on the adventures of Cupid. But I've got to say that is the coolest promo I've ever seen. *applauds the U.K.* Fantastic.

  6. I found this Cupid episode to be disgusting. The scene where a couple are eating each other to death was not pleasant to watch, and the scenes where people were doing horrid things to themselves and others were more suited to a cheap slasher film. I usually love Supernatural, but this episode I could have done without.

  7. LOVED this episode!! Supernatural is the best show on TV, I can't believe more people aren't addicted!

  8. I think that was the point of doing this way, since this is the apocalypse. Famine is horrible and I believe the director wanted it to look horrible, grotesque. They could have done it without soo much blood and gore though.
