		<description>I agree, dark would be better. You can&#039;t bring Batman out into the light and not have him look silly. Frank Miller handled the Batman/Superman dichotomy in his Dark Knight books. The first one at least, was really well done.

		<description>That&#039;s true; you don&#039;t want to end up with grey.  However, both can easily be done either dark or light.  (Remember the campy Batman TV series from the 60&#039;s?)  Personally, I think it would be cool to see them both done dark.  (Superman&#039;s life story is pretty depressing when you really think about it, the soap opera of Smallville notwithstanding.)  If it had a light atmosphere, the risk would be the inevitable comparisons to Superfriends.  I grew up thinking Superman and Batman were law-abiding wusses; how scary is that?
