In a new preview for Batman/Superman: World's Finest #11 by Mark Waid, Dan Mora, Tamra Bonvillain, and Steve Wands, the comic opens with a flashback 30 minutes before readers learned Superman's sidekick, Boy Thunder, would turn into the future villain, Magog. It's revealed The Key has used chemicals in Boy Thunder's brain to learn the location of the Fortress of Solitude. However, as the threat of the villains emerges, in the present, Superman expresses frustration about Boy Thunder nearly killing the Joker, who hangs onto their life after the sidekick loses control against the man who was torturing him.

Superman's Sidekick Is Slowly Becoming A Huge DC Villain

Superman has recently taken on a sidekick in Boy Thunder, who has traveled to his world after the destruction of his own. However, the Man of Steel has struggled to keep his new sidekick's rage and emotions contained, as his concerns about the hero ended up being valid, as Boy Thunder was revealed to be the future villain Magog. While it's unclear how long Boy Thunder has before he becomes Magog, Superman and Batman are learning that giving him such a big responsibility as a hero was probably a mistake - as his beatdown of the Joker proves.

The preview for Batman/Superman: World's Finest #11 suggests Batman and Superman will make a big decision impacting Boy Thunder's future as they try to deal with the fallout of his fight with the Joker after the new sidekick nearly killed the villain. Could Superman and Batman's actions be what causes Boy Thunder to transform into Magog?
