Superman shouldn’t have been given to the decendents of the creators, it was sold fair and square, this is just another case where greed kills a story that so many people love. if it was me i would revamp superman to remove the parts of the story that the Greedy bastards own. Superman doesn’t have to be Kryptonian, or have parents named X. and the name superman can be revamped so DC can keep the Rights without letting the fans loose him. Greed is evil, and the decendents of the creators dont care about the fans or the character, just the money. So i hope DC does something to stop these greedy bastards legally.

I hope someone at Warner Bros. reads all of the comments on this site. Superman was the first superhero that I encountered when I was a Kid. For some reason he was the only REAL superhero. Now I guess I am kind of a unofficial Superman Historian. It’s the first story about an alien from another planet that came to live with us and save us instead of destroying us. Earth is his home planet now and U.S.A. is his country.
Here is a list of things that I would like the people at Warner Bros. to at least take a look at before doing any more damage to the Superman franchise.

1. Brandon should remain Superman, the new Superman costume is a really nice evolution.
2. Superman should be seen as a God-like savior of Earth, Not a week lovesick puppy.
3. Remember, Clark Kent is Superman’s secret I.D. Not the other way around.
4. Superman is both an unstoppable force and a immovable object. He has absolute power and knows nothing of self doubt.
5. Superman stands for “Truth, Justice, and THE AMERICAN WAY” !!!! He is after all a naturalized American citizen who loves his country.
6. Show us the Superman of today and beyond. Everybody knows Superman’s origins. He is after all the first superhero EVER.
7. Superman is a BAD AS?, show that to everyone in the theaters.
8. Less of Kent, More of Superman doing his thing. Please see #3.
9. Please give Superman a super enemy that will push him to all of his limits.
10. Lex Luther is supposed to be totally mentally disturbed, insane, unstable, and ruthless, yet his intelligence is beyond calculation. Like the Joker with a brain, less hair, more money, and a plan.
11. Lois Lane needs to be really Hot, Like 11 out of 10 hot, swim suit model hot. Not some single mom.
12. Superman is NOT a DADDY.
13. Superman is to be shining example to all mankind.

I believe in the fates, it will all work out in the end. Superman like Captain America is iconlic enough that the parties concerned will do right by the character. Yes.

Superman is DC, DC is Superman the separation of these two would probably cause the end of the world, and there would be nobody to save us as Superman would not be able to help without the approval of the Siegel/Shuster family.

I think they should denfenly do another superman movie but if they do decide on a joint one with batman i don’t think they should have them fighting each other because no matter how differnt they are they both still stand for the same belives but with that said a film with both of them in would be a good idea also a i think a live movie of justice league would sell quite well. here is my idea for a new superman movie wait in till they end smallville and bring out a movie virsion to finsh it of it could him finaaly with the tights and cape

Yeah. I already thought of ways about the kid issue. They dont need to put him in the next film because one easy way for them to keep the kid involved in the continuing of the franchise with only mentioning him by name. That or they could keep his presence as a cameo appearance. Like in Superman 2 we all assumed Martha Kent was still alive and it wasnt only till Superman 3 we heard about her passing. Thats just a example. But thats my opinion.

I agree about the Batman thing. The only reason they want to make it more like that is because they see $$ due to the Dark Knight being such a hit. Just because the movie was “dark” doesn’t mean that was the main reason it was well received. They need to look at the bigger picture. It was a pretty well made movie not to mention the curiosity factor due to Heath Ledger’s death.
I say they stay on the path, add some of those villains as you mention, keep the love story/interest going and see where they could go with the kid. I know some people didn’t like the kid aspect, but I think they could take that in a lot of different directions.

I agree with ya Ann. Id rather see them continue from the first two Superman films, Thru Supermans Returns and onton the next film. Especially if villains like Bizarro, Brainiac, aswell as Doomsday make a little appearance in the next one as prosposed. We sure as heck dont need another origin telling reboot. I thought scripts for failed Superman films pretty much sucked, even Batman Vs. Superman didnt look like it would be a great film. Anyways, Singer gave us two great X-men films and he and WB realized what they did wrong so i say we should atleast give them all one more chance. They can always reboot later. lol i cant believe i still hear people think if they go on the same road with Superman as they did w/ Batman in TDK, they could make a great Superman film. Batman is the opposite of Superman so just because it worked for Batman doesnt mean Superman will get that much praise. people really need to keep that in mind.
