Fan Made Slash

Slash 570x754 SR Geek Picks: Go Pro Superman Flight, TMNT Slash Fan Art and More

by SvenJuhlin

When I first heard that a remake of the TMNT movie was in production, I was eager to do my own version of one of the turtles. As a kid I watched a lot of TMNT on the “cartoon network” and I’m really looking forward to the remake of it, even though the thought of it all scares me a bit. I decided to do one of the characters who have not been given that much attention in the series yet, and that is Slash. I have added some elements and removed some and made it to something that I can call my own version of him. Hope you enjoy it, I had a lot of fun making him. Thanks to Dan Calvert for the feedback you gave me!

UP (CENSORED!)

A Supercut Of Perfectly Centered Wes Anderson Scenes

Did you know that Wes Anderson characters can’t move diagonally? They also don’t really stray too far from the center of the frame — or so it seems in this short by Kogonada, who compiles a slew of moments from the director’s career where a simple imaginary line down the middle cuts the person or thing occupying that space into two equal parts. After watching this, you’ll surely be on the hunt for more such moments.

Parents really sing Love Is An Open Door from Disney’s Frozen

No lip-syncing, but we’re also not as good-looking as those people, so…
We were on our way to the movies on date night and did this before we went in. (Parked of course, safety first!) Please forgive the mistakes, this was just for fun!

  1. Where can i buy this Superman costume again?

  2. It’s like SR read the posts with people moaning about Frozen cover songs and posted another one just to spite them. :)

  3. The Superman video is awesome!

To be fair: most childhood snacks probably changed their recipe so many times over the years that they taste completely different these days. Whenever the words “new and improved” showed up on a package it usually meant “worse”.

    • The best lemonade I’ve ever tasted was a shameless Super Mario Bros cash-grab that a company made in the early 90s before they had a cease and desist letter for infringing on trademarks.

Damn shame someone never discovered the recipe for that because man, it was tasty. Except the time I found an old can of it in the back of a cupboard, drank some and got the taste of onions then checked the sell-by date and discovered it should have been consumed 2 years previously.

  4. Hear they announced Cars 2 and INCREDIBLES 2!!!! Excited for Incredibles, and Finding Dory, and JP 4. Only other sequel/Prequels/Remakes I want are Splice 2, Unbreakable 2, Prometheus 2, Island of Dr Moreau, Signs 2, Creature from the black lagoon, X-men Apocalypse if they have the right characters, and Predators 4. I love a well handles sci-fi creature feature we need more of them. have not seen a good animal attack flick for awhile The Grey was good. would love some made like Anacondas, or Rogue maybe have someone with bad intentions release all the zoo animals on a ceratin date for some reason, or some animal fanatic who kills villains with animals and is being tracked by investigators.

    • Cars 2 released a few years ago.

      The Grey was good? Ok…

  5. Ok, so that Superman was really well made. Other than the obvious green screened arms at the bottom but hey, I can forgive that because it was brilliant.
