  1. It always annoys me how the only thing about gaming mainstream media seems to get is Mario.

    • I agree but Mario is the best thing in gaming…ever.

      • I’m not denying that the cultural obsession with the character has been well deserved but it’d be great if people could remember about the other games in the games industry.

  2. … let’s continue that convo between Kal-El and Tony …

So technically the world saving came down to the two highest paid actors? Huh, I never looked at it that way.

As far as the destruction I caused- um yeah. Not anywhere close to, y’know… the loss every single life on the entire planet to Zod’s terraforming. Had I not been here, Earth and humanity would be lost.

    Tony -

And if we hadn’t been there, our Earth and humanity would have been lost too.

    Kal-El -

Obviously, it appears that your planet doesn’t have any type of military presence.

    • technically technically it took a nuke fired by the government redirected by ironman.

      • Here how bout this one-

        Kal El-

        Hey Tony-
When you were a kid you learning how to build bombs. When I was a kid, I lifted a submerged school bus full of drowning children out of a river.

        Ba-ba-ba-do-wa-bop Superman!

        • Dr. Mindbender for the win.

    • So Superman couldn’t have just directed the fight to a place where he knew the fight he was about to have with Zod wouldn’t hurt anyone or cause any damage to a major city.

Also you seem to forget two things
      1) Ironman and Superman are two different characters, the point of Superman is that he’s a boy scout where as Tony Stark started out as just some rich asshole who didn’t care to find out what was going on with he’s own company. It’s comparing a redemption story to the classic superhero story.

      2) In terms of ability saving a schoolbus full of children is on the small level as building the type of tech Tony Stark was building. Again your comparing a smart guy with a superhuman alien with the ability to bench-press a skyscraper. Well I’m exaggerating…I think but still it’s hard to compare the two characters.

  3. If man of steel follows the dark knight, we will have two great films that will be disgraced by the third, horrible film!

    • The Dark Knight trilogy had a secret 3rd movie then? In between TDK and TDKR?

      • it’s called: dark knight the hangover

      • Nope TDKR sucked compared to the first too!

        • Two! Nope Batman and Robin sucks but pretty much sucks!

  4. I love The Dark Knight Trilogy and I think that formula for Man of Steel might actually… Work! I thought I was the only one that thought Zod in Man of Steel was a lot like Ra’s al Ghul from Batman Begins. That being said, I still want to see Brainiac on the big screen! But Doomsday would be pretty badass…

    • Hmm…horrible character development? So what do you call the individual movies of Thor, Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America then? You’re supposed to watch them all dumbass.

    • bizzaro or brainiac

      • Brainiac definitely. Bizzaro is too much like Zod, just an evil version of Superman.

        • Even if they used Bizarro, what would his costume be like since Cavill’s Superman costume is dark enough as Bizarro’s was.

          • probably the normal bright red and blue

    • The back story has been changed a million times, so I don’t think anyone would have a problem with that. They might be able to make the character more “movie friendly”.

    • Darkseid!! Would be awesome for Man of Steel 3.

  5. * mininum in the next film

  6. man of steel should walk a different path, no need to blow your load in the sequel.

  7. That pic of Henry Cavill that’s used in that last pic is a spy photo from the set while filming, NOT an official photo! The cape is phtoshopped in, the belt is photoshopped to be red, and he’s in an awkward position.

There are PLENTY of official images of Superman from Man of Steel that can be used, so can we please stop using these photoshopped images that aren’t official?

  8. The movie Man of Steel was awesome! I don’t get it why everybody is freaked out how the movie turned out! you should read more DC Comics though. You’d get it. :)
