super bowl movie trailers Super Bowl Movie Trailers 2011

Super Bowl XLV has begun and while some place their bets on the epic Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Green Bay Packers match-up, others find themselves more interested in the expensive commercial breaks, where the biggest and best car, beer and other advertisers premiere their most important (and most entertaining) television commercials of the year.

You can check out what we’ve already picked out as the best Super Bowl commercials of 2011, but we’re much more interested in the Super Bowl movie trailers. There are a plethora of major film TV spots to get excited about, and many have debuted online already. But we patiently (and anxiously) await the biggest ones of the event: Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor, Super 8, Transformers: Dark of the Moon and more!

Here’s the list of all 2011 Super Bowl movie trailers which we’ll continually update throughout the day as each trailer becomes available online. You can click on each movie title to watch the ones we have thus far:

-

Most of the films above have seen trailers and TV spots already but two stand out for us, both from Paramount Pictures and both making their world premieres during the game. These are of course Marvel Studios’ Captain America and J.J. Abrams’ Super 8. Did they live up to your expectations?

  1. Super 8 has me the most excited. I dont know what it is about but the look and feel of the trailer, I think Abrams has done it again. It has a great ET feel to it. I think Speilberg and Abrams did something good here. I cant wait!!!

Also shout out too Transformers, I just love seeing Robots blow sh*t up!!!

  2. Cowboys and Aliens! xD

    Me like!

  3. I don’t think any of the super bowl movie trailers were any good, but the girls in them were amazingly hot, I would trade in my girlfriend for those girls any day!

  4. Thanks for posting these.

  5. Wasn’t to crazy about another Transformers but the trailer looked pretty sick.. Captain America looked ok didn’t really dig the helmet… Cowboys and Aliens just looks stupid to me but I can’t say that I’m not a little curious. Thor, Battle LA, and super8 all looked pretty good too… And did I see some dino-bots?!!!!!

  6. Does anyone know what song was used for the transformers trailer?

it sounded like a dubstep song or something.

I personally think cowboys and aliens and transformers stole the show, cap looked alright (its crazy how big evans got for cap though)

i think i need to watch the super 8 trailer again cuz i wasnt impressed the first time i saw it.

i would highly recommend finding the 1080p download of the transformers trailer though because its like watching a different trailer than the one everyone saw on standard tv.

  7. Captain America, Transformers 3, Super 8, Battle: Los Angeles, Thor, Fast Five, Pirates of the Caribbean…….i wanna see all these lol the trailers looked awesome

  8. captain america, thor, transformers 3 fast five, battle los angeles and pirates seeing all of em =)

  9. Where’s the Green Lantern Trailer, I sure hope this isn’t the good money they didn’t want to spend after bad!

I’m really pulling for that movie, I hope that if anything the special effects are the only bad thing about it. I’m willing to ignore bad special effects just like I ignored Green Goblins ridiculous costume (ignored, bring it back up after an argument ten years later like an old nagging spouse, same diff.).

  10. After I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added-

checkbox and now every time a remark is added I get 4 emails
    with the identical comment.

Is there any approach you possibly can take
    away me

    from that service? Thanks!

  11. Hello! Someone in my Myspace group shared this website with us so I

came to check it out. I’m definitely loving the information. I’m

bookmarking and will be tweeting this to my followers!
    Outstanding blog and excellent

    design.

  12. I have been browsing online greater than three hours these days,
but I never discovered any interesting article like yours.
It’s pretty value sufficient for me. In my view, if all website owners and bloggers made just right content as you probably did, the web shall be much more helpful than ever before.

  13. Get to watch each game even the superbowl.
