Superheroes are no strangers to public makeovers. Sometimes the actor portraying a superhero changes every few years, while the visual effects that enhance another hero are upgraded with a new sequel. However, I’m not too sure any superhero could recover from a hipster makeover.
If you ever wondered what your favorite web-slinger would look like in full hipster mode, today is your lucky day. College Humor turned all of your favorite heroes into the self-conscious, anti-establishment personalities that are found creating new trends on every street corner.
We’ve picked a few of our favorites to share. There’s no getting by the best one of all, though: Hipster Spider-Man is nearly unbeatable. By blending Spider-Man with the latest celebrity meme – prancing Michael Cera – we are graced with one of the funniest depictions of late.
We definitely love Hipster Hulk, with his ultra-emo hair and Bruce Banner belt buckle. Another great one is Hipster Iron Man, who can’t seem to shake his love for Pabst Blue Ribbon.

I would definitely pay good money to see a hipster version of The Avengers, starring Michael Cera and the rest of today’s young, “hip” actors. If the Pabst Blue Ribbon sponsorship is too difficult, I’m sure there is a great winter hat store willing to promote themselves.
It’s always funny to poke fun at the hipster crowd, and there’s no better method than blending them with the bright and shiny superheroes of today. It’s really not a far cry from “reality” to label Peter Parker as a hipster. Who knows what Marc Webb will bring to the table with Andrew Garfield in their adaptation of the web-slinging teenager in the new Spider-Man.
Head over to College Humor to check out the rest of the hipster superheroes. You’ll find a grumpy Aquaman, a slick Xavier, an Ellen Page Wonder Woman and a tweeting Batman.
Which are your favorites and what other superheroes would you like to see as hipsters? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

LMAO!
have you guys seen the hipster hitler stuff?
What’s up with the hipster fascination with Blue Ribbon? I was tricked into drinking some when I was in NY, and it was horrid.
Why drink that, when you have good beers, like Sam Adams?
I agree. HOw the heck people can drink that garbage, or even worse, Budweiser, is beyond me. Wayyyyy too many great beers out there to be choking down that swill!!
Ha! Anheuser-Busch lost the rights to the Budweiser trademark to Budvar here in Europe, so we have the “good” one. Well, it’s way better than Bud, but it’s just a standard lager really.
Because for some stupid reason, drinking cheap crappy beer is cool these days…luckily i love in oregon, where beer is good and well made.
Some damn fine beers here in upstate NY and Vermont as well. I love Long Trail Ale!! Although I wish I could get Fat Tire out here… *sigh*
Pabst won the blue ribbon. Nuff said. I’ll die drinking that beer. I also am from PA where local brews are all the rage. Still drink Pabst. Tall boys for life!
P.b.r. is always a good beer on the cheap! Btw you can thank oregon for starting the micro brew trends
.
How many hipsters does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Just one. And the rest of them standing around saying they did it first!
I get it. That’s good – so like real life.
Portland is full of hipsters (hangs head in shame). They all moves here for some reason…
I don’t get it.
Sully
good one!
I want to shake the hand of whoever came up with these.
I wanna see the flash on a fixie.
