I thought Push was okay. I don't remember it much, but it was definitely interesting. I don't think I've actually seen telekinetic guns anywhere else.

Heroes is more about people whose power is their character trait -- Peter is an empath who is empathetic, Parkman is a mind-reader who is a curious cop, Tracy plays with ice and was cold-hearted. Push feels more like people with powers. Plus, weren't there experiments in Push that didn't just come out of nowhere?

I would be excited for a Push TV show. I could see it being plot-oriented instead of blatantly (but failing at) character-oriented (like Heroes, whose characters deny the thing they were set up to be).

I disagree with someone who posted earlier, though. Push benefited from being, well, pushed into the plot kind of in the middle of things. It gave off the vibe of, This movie encompasses a new universe. Here are our rules. This is what happens. And that sets it apart from Heroes even more. I keep badmouthing Heroes, but Heroes is just trying to be something it's not. Push is what it is. I could see it becoming a series, but then getting cancelled.

I had higher expectations for the film...its promotion and marketing was very misleading regarding what the film was about so I think that is why my expectations weren't met though a TV series could be a good thing...there is so much to work with, so I am looking forward to it.

Whit a tv series you always have a lot of time to explain your things and develop you character. This give you a great advantage compare to the movie. As for a comparison whit heroes, this show just keep going down and down. Whit Monday episode I am completely turn off, Sylar is going to give up is powers? And Claire is holding a chick hand, it total bullshit. So if Push comes out on tv format, I’ll give it a try.

I enjoyed the movie for what it was. Popcorn fair leave my brain at the door. The story itself was reminiscent of Steven Kings Firestarter.

I dont watch much TV.. LOST, Burn Notice (starts tonight!), Football and thats about it.... So I probably wont watch this until it hits DVD or VoD.

I think a tv series will do MUCH better than the movie. The movie just felt a little rushed and sort of dropped you into the middle of it without a whole lot of background, they just sort of gave you the background as it went along. Done right, with it stretched out, I think you can develop the story better.

I just hope that they do the TV show right because the movie was just bad. They took a great idea, and just killed it. The movie also had the worst ending to a movie that i've ever seen. I really, really hope that they can make a 180 with this and make the tv show good if they do it.
