please no Superman Returns sequel in 2010. let the film and its continuity go off and die, and restart the franchise sans Singer and Routh.

Wow you guys didn’t like Superman?
You have to admit the jetplane scenes were awesome?
I could have done without Lex Luthor though.

Anyhoo.
This strike won’t occur. It would be incredibly stupid
of SAG to strike. It could and would hurt films and tv for along time.

The public won’t support SAG the way they did the WGA.

Kevin Spacey was a freakin’ awesome Lex Luthor. I thought Superman Returns was kinda weak, although the SFX were phenomenal. I just hope that studios come to that: STORY>ACTORS>SFX.

You can have a fantastic story that can make a GREAT movie with good actors and mediocre effects. However, a poor story with great actors and superb effects is still a crappy movie. It does seem that we get ALOT more of the latter, doesn’t it??

I’m just hoping this strike never happens.

Yea Andy I loved Superman Returns. Sure some things could have been better but overall it was awesome.

I loved Spacey as Luthor but I’m just tired of Lex Luthor I wish they would have done a different villian but overall it was a 9 out of 10 for me.

I would say 6 out of 10 for me, Steve. My expectations were very high for that film and I was kinda disappointed. I thought Routh made a better Clark Kent than Superman, but the whole real estate angle and the kid being Superman’s just kinda ruined the movie for me. I DID like Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane way more than Margot Kidder. At least Bosworth is hot. LOL.

Yea I agree Lex’s plan was lame. Its not enough for him to take over the world he wants to reshape it like some dumb zelot with a god-complex.
Ok 8 out of 10.

I’m more of a Parker Posey man myself. @

The SAG strike is happening and many around the country are preparing for it w/ release schedules, equipment rental houses closing branches in cities such as Chicago, etc. … …

The strike won’t happen. And if it did it would cripple the economy of Hollywood permantly for years. There’s too much to loose if they do.
It will be settled at the last minute.
