A new batch of Stranger Things season 3 set photos reveal the first look at Millie Bobby Brown's character Eleven. Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer started filming the new season back in April, but a premiere date for the new episodes have yet to be revealed.

Since debuting on Netflix in 2016, Stranger Things has become a cultural phenomenon. At the center of much of the love is Brown’s fan-favorite character Eleven, a young girl who is kidnapped by the ominous Hawkins National Laboratory and experimented on for her psychokinetic abilities. After escaping the lab and helping save Will Byers from the paranormal Upside Down in season 1, Brown’s character Eleven returned in season 2 to reunite with the friends she made and once again help save the town of Hawkins – this time from the Mind Flayer and its army of demodogs. It's unclear where Stranger Things season 3 will go, but new set photos may reveal some details.

The new photos of Brown shooting in Atlanta for season 3 were posted on Just Jared, showing the 14-year-old actress in character with cast-mate Sadie Sink. In the photos, Sink, who plays Max Mayfield, can be seen pushing a bicycle along in the rain, while it appears that Brown has a stunt double filling in for her. As Brown continues to recover from a recent injury, the stunt double is no doubt a precaution with the wet, slippery surfaces.

Brown was involved in an unspecified accident in June and split her kneecap, which also forced her to miss the MTV Movie & TV Awards on June 18. It does appear, however, that she is getting back to normal, and she should soon be able to resume her duties as Eleven. So far, it seems that season 3 figures to be particularly important for the growth of Brown’s character, as the actress has already described her season 3 arc as a coming-of-age story, in which she learns more about what it’s like to be a normal teenage girl.

Based on what's been revealed, it certainly looks like Eleven will become more accepted in society, not to mention being able to attend school like a regular kid. That much is evident in the new set photos, as well as at least part of the season taking place in the spring/summer. But, if nothing else, the photos reveal that Eleven is still growing out her hair and rocking a whole new set of fashion trends.
