Stargate Universe - Stargate on the Destiny

A 4 minute sneak peak from the premiere of Stargate Universe has been released by Syfy.

It’s a moment in the show when the attack that forces an evacuation from the base they’re on is taking place and the group of humans whom we will be coming to know in the series are dealing with the attack and figuring out a gate address to dial.

Pardon the upfront ad in the video. It’s not our doing.

Stargate Universe premieres on Friday, October 2nd on Syfy.

    Hudson - Syfy says you don't have to have followed any previous series to follow SGU.

    Elaine: I hope for your sake, you have a lot of popcorn for your 24 hour TV marathon. Then again, I envy you! That sounds like fun.

    I am resisting looking at the 4 min sneak view as I am so looking forward to watching this new Stargate, Unfortunatly I will be out of the country when it first airs, but I have it programmed to record, and look forward to seeing it along with all the other first in the series I will miss the week I'm away, Bones, Lie to me, Fringe, House, I know what I'll be doing the first day I get back.

    i did see the movie with kurt russel and i thought it was okay.hell are they even related

    Looks interesting.

    And Hudson, Stargate and Battlestar Galactica are completely unrelated, so you won't need to worry about that. And the Stargate creators said they are making this series so people who didn't keep up with the other two Stargate shows would still be able to enjoy it. So you should have no problem.

    That said, I still say you should watch at least a few episodes of Stargate SG-1. It's a quality show.

    so ive never seen an episode of stargate or battlestar galactica(not sure if they are related) could i watchthis and understand what is going on or do i need to watch all the others

    Damn. Not available in my location. I'm guessing you need to be in the US to watch this. Pity as I was looking forward to seeing what they could do with it and it'll never appear over here. Ever!. Oh well. :(
