SG1 was awesome, SGA was even better and very entertaining, I was hooked on SGA from the first day. SGU just doesn’t do it for me. I love sci-fi but this I just can not watch. I truly hope they bring back the old characters ASAP.

I tried to watch SG-1 and found it wanting. I did not hate it but though it could have been better. One day I watched SGA and from that point on I was hooked on it, but still could not get into SG-1. But I must admit, if I had not seen SG-1 before, I would have been confused on some aspects of SGA. I still stand by what I said, SGA is better than SG-1. I’m going to give SG-1 another chance on DVD. I already have SGA on DVD. I have not had the chance to see SGU. The one big difference between the two “for me” is SGA has a more robust cast. I hope the show comes back.

I must say I loved Torri Higginson. I do like Amanda but to drop Torri for Amanda seemed cheap. And then…Amanda goes away and we got Picardo.

I just really liked Higginson.

Sad to see the show close. I enjoyed their world.

Took me awhile to get into Atlantis. They changed the cast a lot more, remember they lost the other soldier guy very soon and replaced him with Ronan, which was a good move.

Also grown to really like Todd.

Ash: That was my very suspicion. Leaving it open to make their direct to DVD movie more appealing. I’m somewhat grumbly about that but in the end it all works out, if you’re really patient enough about it!

While Amanda Tapping was wasted, I *hated* the seeing Higginson on the show. HATED her character. I was ecstatic to see her leave regardless of who replaced her.

I’m incredibly annoyed they’re ending the series as it just found it’s “groove” recently. As to this episode? I was thinking “WTF?” In my opinion it was:

1. A total rip-off of CSI shows.

2. Annoying that they went so graphic with it – we watch it as a family and my daughter was not able to watch the next-to-last episode of the entire series.

3. A *very* cheap “short-cut” way to end the series abruptly. Lame Deus Ex Machina IMHO.

I can’t imagine them wrapping this all up in a one hour episode. This show deserves a better ending.

I LOVED Vegas. Fantastic episode in a marvelous series. I’m going to miss Stargate Atlantis.

I also loved Stargate SG-1.

But, there are 10 seasons of SG-1 dvds, 4 season of DVD for SGA (and a 5th will soon released), plus we have 2 Stargate SG1 movies, the promise of a SGA movie…

And the new SGU series to look forward to.

I despised, for the most part, SG-1. As a result, there was a short time which I didn’t bother with Atlantis. Then I decided one day to give it a try and I liked it ten times better than SG-1. I especially liked Torri Higginson, and when they started actually doing stuff with her character, they kind of knocked her off and brought in… Amanda Tapping uggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! If it wasn’t for the wonderful bad assness of Jason Momoa, I would have stopped watching almost two seasons ago.
