Having recently broken into computer animation on an individual basis, I can attest to the fact that projects involving CGI for animation or live action film (as opposed to CGI stills) is an insanely protracted, involved, technical and artistic process. That a few of these guys are attempting something approaching feature length (in total) astounds me.

As John Walker (producer for "The Incredibles") said once, whoever decided to make motion pictures this way was insane! Adding up the man hours for the best of the best of CGI reaches into many multiple lifetimes for a single project.

Kudos to these guys for having the cojones to even make the attempt.

"The important thing now is that we find their nephew, uh, Duke, and make sure he's okay." Love it. I think you're onto something there, 790: "For all your Stormtrooper needs..."

I have not seen that before. Thanks for the links. I enjoyed those. Yeah, the CGI is not ILM, but it was still fun to watch!

This is great news; I had sort of given up on Chapter Two ever being finished. "Troops" was great, and Chapter One was a little less outright funny in it's approach, but very creative. I'm heading over there now...thanks for the head's up!

Sounds cool I can't watch it til I get to a real computer.
^
Lucas should open up "Stormtrooper Surplus stores" in select cites,,,
They could be your one stop shop to get all sizes of Stormtrooper armor, helmets, boots, training manuals, etc. Of course they would also stock the latest in Tie Fighter suits,, At-At Walker Commando outfits,,, I suppose they could also stock the latest in Rebel uniforms,,,
They should be high quality yet affordable...

I don't know just thinking,,?
I think these Stormtrooper Surplus Outlets would be profitable even in this recession.

Everyone loves Stormtroopers!
(That could be the tagline)
