I forgot that the James Bond gun barrel sequences had such variations on a them over the years. Everything from wearing a hat, to kneeling in a firing position, to the dimensionality of the swaying gun barrel, to the orchestrations.

casino royal had the coolest one, but Dalton looked the best when fairing , quantum of solace, what happened? that was not a bang that was a firecracker…
I love all the James Bond films, but I must admit, Casino Royale had the best gun barrel opening. Just the way it was shot and the timing of the music, it’s prety cool. And I never noticed how they tried so hard to make the Bond theme in the Pierce Brosnan films “cool”, but really just sounded bad. I just never noticed how different the music in those films was until seeing this video.
