Warning! Spoilers ahead for Bounty Hunters #7

Boba Fett isn't the only bounty hunter in the Star Wars galaxy with a large reputation. While Marvel's Bounty Hunters series has already featured quite a few notorious bounty hunters in its first few issues, even more are coming this November. In the next arc of the series, famous bounty hunters 4-LOM and Zuckuss are coming, and their latest bounty is Beilert Valance, the series' primary protagonist and hunter. Read on to learn more, and the wild plan of attack they have coming Valance's way.

4-LOM and Zuckuss were among the line-up of bounty hunters featured in The Empire Strikes Back hired by Darth Vader himself, alongside hunters such as Bossk, IG-88, Dengar, and Boba Fett. 4-LOM and Zuckuss are known to frequently work as a hunting duo. 4-LOM is protocol droid with protocols he himself reprogramed, making him one the deadliest hunters ever. Zuckuss is his partner, a Gand Findsman who is a highly skilled tracker, relying on the old traditions and ancient practices of his people to find his prey. While their exploits have barely been explored in the Star Wars continuity since Disney's reboot, that is all about to change thanks to Marvel's Bounty Hunters.

In the upcoming arc of the series from writer Ethan Sacks with art by Paolo Villanelli, there's going to be a rather large bounty on Valance's head by on organization known as the Unbroken Clan, as revealed by the preview for Bounty Hunters #6, coming in October. However, the preview for the seventh issue reveals just how 4-LOM and Zuckuss plan to take Valance down. Here's the cover artwork and solicitation for the issue from Marvel Comics:

  • ETHAN SACKS (W) PAOLO VILLANELLI (A)
  • Cover by LEE BERMEJO
  • Empire Strikes Back Variant COVER by CHRIS SPROUSE
  • ACTION FIGURE VARIANT COVER BY JOHN TYLER CHRISTOPHER
  • NO ONE CAN ESCAPE THE FINDSMEN! A badly wounded VALANCE reunites with a long lost love on a secret Rebel base... but trouble is right on his heels. ZUCKUSS AND 4-LOM, the deadliest bounty hunting duo in the galaxy are closing in, ready to take out their quarry dead or alive! And they brought an army of Clone War-era Battle Droids with them! Valance is trapped and if he wants to escape alive he’ll have to make the toughest decision of his entire life.

It seems as though 4-LOM and Zuckuss are going to have their own private army to use to make sure they get the job done. Seeing battle droids back in commission after Empire should be pretty cool for fans to see, and hopefully Sacks will provide some more insight and details into the duo's background and history.

In any case, the operations and adventures of the most notorious rogues in the Star Wars universe will keep getting bigger and better and Marvel's Bounty Hunters continues.
