Lucasfilm will host three panels at this year's Star Wars Celebration celebrating the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Resistance and Star Wars Rebels. Star Wars Celebration, the largest fan gathering for the franchise, began in 1999, shortly before the release of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. The event happens regularly all over the world and includes guests from Star Wars movies and animated series, as well as some of the franchise's biggest fans.

Early rumors suggested that the 2019 Star Wars Celebration would take place in Anaheim, presumably because Galaxy's Edge is scheduled to open at Disneyland in the summer. However, fans were surprised when Lucasfilm announced that this year's event would take place in Chicago at McCormick Place on April 11-15. Although the Celebration is just around the corner, details about what fans can expect are scarce with announcements of guests and programming slowly beginning to trickle in.

However, three panels at Star Wars Celebration are now confirmed. According to StarWars.com, Lucasfilm released information that Star Wars Celebration would host three separate panels based on Star Wars animated properties. On Saturday, April 13, a panel called Star Wars Rebels Remembered with Dave Filoni, Vanessa Marshall, Tiya Sircar and Taylor Gray will reminisce about the series that ended in 2018. Unfortunately, Lucasfilm also confirmed there would not be an announcement about a new Rebels series.

On Sunday, April 14, Filoni, along with some other special guests, will host a panel to mark the return of Star Wars: The Clone Wars on Disney Plus. This panel will include an exclusive sneak peek at the revived series. Finally, on Monday, April 15, there is a panel featuring a preview of Star Wars Resistance season 2 with members of the cast including Christopher Sean, Suzie McGrath, Scott Lawrence, Myrna Velasco, and Donald Faison, along with executive producers Justin Ridge, Athena Portillo and Brandon Auman.

For further details on these panels, as well as other programming, fans can keep an eye on the official Star Wars Celebration website. For those who do not yet have tickets, only Monday tickets remain available in a limited number. The five-day tickets for the event sold out within a week after they went on sale. Lucasfilm continues to announce guests for the event, with more announcements on the way.

What makes Star Wars Celebration so much fun is that it features a little something for every Star Wars fans. Even Star Wars video gamers will get something special with a first look at Respawn's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
