The premiere of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is just a week away. The film will introduce a group of previously unknown members of the Rebel Alliance, along with a handful of cameos from the franchise. Together, they’ll be working to steal the plans to the Death Star, thus setting off the chain of events that led to the original Star Wars trilogy. Not only will the film see the return of characters like Darth Vader and Bail Organa, but it will also feature appearances by other classic elements, like the Stormtroopers and X-Wings.

When it comes to the film’s marketing , we’ve already seen Epcot’s Spaceship Earth get temporarily turned into the Death Star, and an actual X-Wing parked in the streets of Hollywood. Yesterday even saw filmmaker Zack Snyder post a mashup of the trailer for Batman V Superman with Star Wars to show off his excitement for the next installment in the franchise.

One of the somewhat newer elements of the movie will be a showcase on a variant of the AT-AT Walker, prominently featured in Empire Strikes Back. The film’s version is known as the AT-ACT, and along with possesing its usual offensive and defensive capabilties, it’s augmented to carry munitions and construction equipment. All of that extra room could also be used to create one heck of a playhouse for kids, as YouTube builder Colin Furze recently discovered.

Teaming up with eBay, Furze built a scale model of the new AT-ACT Walker and then made it jumbo size, right in the middle of one lucky kid’s backyard. He then stuffed it full of Star Wars toys and games, all purchased from eBay. The coolest part? The head and guns of the Walker can move thanks to controls on the inside. While this was designed for kids, we’d be lying if we said we didn’t want to climb inside ourselves.

The build doesn’t seem to be officially connected to Lucasfilm or Rogue One, but they really need to collaborate with Furze stat. We saw his dedication to fandom last year when he created real-life versions of some Assassin’s Creed weapons. Given the time and effort behind these sorts of builds, we probably won’t see another big one from him until this time next year. Luckily, there will be Star Wars: Episode VIII to give him some inspiration.
