Star Wars Episode 7 Poster SR Geek Picks: Star Wars VII Fan Poster, London Comic Con 2013 Cosplay & More

Created by Robert Pierce

Now that Lucasfilm has been purchased by the Walt Disney Company, new Star Wars movies will probably continue well into the future. I’m hoping they turn out to be entertaining.
I thought it would be fun to see what a one sheet poster might look like for the new movie with the orignal cast at their current ages. So I put this epic poster together using current images of the cast.
I read somewhere that the story for the new movie will focus on Luke Skywalker being the “Obi-wan” type character passing his knowledge to a new female protagonist. I think it sounds like an interesting story.
Now that this is posted I’ll want to come back and look how off I was compared to the actual poster. It should be fun.

  1. The star wars ep. VII poster is awesome.

    • that is really is a good poster Hamill looks legit well.done !!!!

      • That poster is dope. It’s obvious that Fisher is gonna need a lot of work. I thought she was a Hutt for a second! LOL

        • Poster looks great, and the actors/actresses look great in it. Yes, they could all use a little toning before the movie, and I would presume that they are going to do so. Looking forward to seeing them again in the roles that made them famous.

  2. The Deadpool video was hilarious. Better than most full length “comedy” movies. Can’t wait for that game.

It was also cool seeing John Leguizamo talk about that admittedly atrocious Super Mario Bros movie and then marking out when he held up the action figure (I had Mario and Luigi and the devolution chamber playset that had a free Goomba included).

  3. that poster is amazing

    • I heavily agree with you man hopefully the real one will look even cooler. Any idea who the female in white is supposed to be i know she is supposed to be Luke Skywalker’s female apprentice but is it supposed to be an actress or is it just a picture of a girl. Is it Chloe Grace Mortez? Probably not i personally hope she plays the apprentice in the sequel i think she’d be good for that i just don’t want it to be like Hit-Girl meets Star Wars and with people like Kennedy, Abrams, and Ardnt on board along with all the original actors who i think are very talented i doubt it will. What about you kevin would you like a female protagonist, if so who would you want to play it, would you want Moretz let me know man. Peace :)

      • They want a female protagonist,a woman, not a girl, too many of those already.

Star Wars needs a real woman in her 30-s to be the female protagonist,
a great actress and who is great in action as well.

        So Anna Torv,

Anna Torv deserves a great film career, and Star Wars would be a nice launch.

        • I wouldn’t mind Anna Torv. Chloe Moretz…she’s a great actress, but I would not cast her in SW. She’s already such a big name.

  4. Tom Hiddleston for the role of Data if they ever do a Star Trek TNG reboot.

  5. Thanks for the geek picks guys, they can be a lot of fun.

  6. A New Dawn? Really?

First thing that comes to mind is Twilight when I read that. Ugh.

  7. They should bring Shatner in as a Star Wars character.

  8. Next Gen will never get recast.

I loved in when it was on but the characters are not iconic like Kirk, Spock and McCoy.

They could bring 7 of 9 back anytime though. Sex appeal aside she was a great character.

    • …or the Borg queen. She was very alluring.
