James Cawley – executive producer of the New Voyages – has gone on record saying he was not enamoured with the redesigned Enterprise for ST XI.
He’s an obvious purist – it was the whole reason he recreated the original look in the first place.

Cawley managed to get on the sets to see filming of the new movie and he was blown away by what he saw. Itis extremely gratifying to see his total buy in to the vision that JJ Abrams has for Star Trek.

Hirogen,
I couldn’t quite remember where I’d seen that name before. I like that alias.

What was your fave? I liked DS9. Great acting, nice story arcs & continuity. Great conclusion, too. But, I could do without most of the Ferengi episodes.

If the name didn’t give it away, I’m a huge Star Trek fan also. Only ironic thing about it is Voyager is my least favorite series despite the alias.

I’m also a big fan of Trek, so I’m following it here.

As for the corridor, it’s possible it could still be explained as being before a refit that gave the ship it’s original series look. Until I know more, I’m hoping that explanation will work.
