[UPDATE: The official Star Trek trailer is now online.]
The Star Trek bootleg trailer that is up on YouTube will not be shown here at Screen Rant for two reasons:
1. I don’t support people filming what’s on the screen in movie theaters.
2. Why would you want to see a crappy version of the trailer ahead of a sharp, hi-res version?
Regarding number one, I find it quite ironic that one of the movie websites out there that considers itself to be quite important, and looks down it’s nose at movie blog sites, would host an illegal copy of a trailer, while I will not.
And as to number two, you can only see a movie or trailer for the first time once, so why have the first time be less than a great experience? That’s equivalent to meeting a gorgeous girl your friend told you about for the first time right after she woke up with bed hair and unbrushed teeth, instead of waiting to meet her later in the day when she’s done up and dressed nicely. 
As soon as an official version of the trailer is available, I’ll post it up for you guys.

Good for you Vic. PARAMOUNT should give those guys over there a quick kick in the doo doo chute! On a similar note, just got back from CLOVERFIELD and the “theatrical version” of the ST trailer gave me goose bumps!
CLOVERFIELD rated a 8.75 out of 10 with me.

I saw Cloverfield earlier, loved it by the way. But I was kinda bummed that their wasn’t a Star Trek teaser. They Showed Hellboy II, Iron Man and Untraceable. So I guess I’m gonna have to wait till its officially released.

I saw the Teaser tonight! It was the very last thing they showed before the movie.

Teaser for Trek.
The teaser was awesome! They mixed in the “One giant leap for mankind” Bit for a nice dramatic thing. They it goes…”Space…The final frontier” Goosebumps! Finishes that classic quote, then they pan to the front of the enterprise being worked on like in the picture and cut out to the logo. SWEETNESS. CLOVERFIELD MADE MY WEEK. Sorry, had to say it lol.

I really want this to be good. Star Trek has so much potential to be fascinating cinema, but it hasn’t been for years.
Oh, and for the record, Vic, I think my girlfriend looks fantastic even when she does wake up with bed hair and unbrushed teeth. And she’s not looking over my shoulder at the moment or anything either.
People that bring cameras into theatres at this point in time are frivken morons.

LOL, well, Thomas I think you know what I was trying to say. Sometimes makeup and clothes cover up a multitude of “sins”.
