This contest is open to everyone, all over the world, so that’ll make you overseas readers happy. icon smile Star Trek: The Art of the Film Contest Winners!

Here’s the official description of the book:

Director J.J. Abrams’ new vision of the greatest space adventure of all time, Star Trek features a young, new crew venturing boldly where no man has gone before, as it tells the story of how the brash Starfleet cadet James T. Kirk first meets a Vulcan named Spock, and earns the Captain’s chair of the Starship Enterprise. The film quickly became a critical and commercial smash hit worldwide, as audiences — confirmed Trekkers and newcomers alike — thrilled to a state-of-the-art action epic which both respected the legacy of Gene Roddenberry’s archetypal modern myth and forged ahead into an exciting future of its own. Star Trek: The Art of the Film is a lavishly illustrated celebration of that new vision, tracing the evolution of the movie’s look through a stunning array of previously unseen pre-production paintings, concept sketches, costume and set designs, unit photography and final frames. Written by New York Times-bestselling author Mark Cotta Vaz in close co-operation with the film’s production team, and including a Foreword by J.J. Abrams, this is the essential companion to the film.

  1. Entered. Again. I swear, guys, if this is why I’ve been getting so many catalogs in the mail lately…. ;)

  2. @Tony

LOL, I can assure you I haven’t been doing ANYTHING with the email and mailing addresses I’ve received in these contacts. Some would call me a terrible internet marketer for just sitting on them. :-P

  3. @Vic,

No worries, I just have lousy luck sometimes. It’s all good. Not gonna stop getting the e-mails, following the Twitter, or reading the sites just for this. And yes, I know it’s not your fault. But for the life of me, I don’t know how I got on the Bacon Of The Month Club mailing list…
Oh, and yes, I just now realized that if I use a different e-mail, I might just have an avatar pop up. Maybe.

  4. Lol

  5. Entered! Star Trek was so awesomely awesome! lol Best movie this year in my opinion.

  6. I’ve entered into a contest for the second time on screen rant but this is the first time I’ve subscribed to Screen Rant’s email newsletter. Let’s see what happens on this long journey that I just embarked on!!!

  7. @Vic
I’ll give you this one choice humaaan; either send me the book or prepare to meet my bat’leth!! :-D

  8. Just entered.
I’ve never won a contest in my life, so I’d LOVE to win. :)

    @John “Kahless” Taylor…

Is a bat’leth that curved double-edged weapon? If it is, I wouldn’t want to be on the business end of it. ;)

  9. @Stephie
Of course you wouldn’t want to be…you are a weakling human!!!

Yep, it is the curved sword. Commonly known as the Sword of Kahless.

  10. @John “Kahless” Taylor…

I may be a “weakling human”, but I’m also smart enough not to mess with a Klingon, especially one who’s armed. ;)

Got to admit… the Sword of Kahless is quite an impressive weapon.

  11. Darn, guess I’ll have to just buy one, lol. :-)

  12. @vic
