  1. I agree with most of the best movies of the year. But seriously… no Dark Knight Rises and No Avengers, Skyfall, The Hobbit Or Prometheus? And Everyone rips on Battleship. Battleship would have done better if it wouldn’t have been released around the same time as The Avengers. Overseas that movie did Amazing. And john Carter was right with the original story personally I loved it. The list should be The Best Stories made into movies of 2012. Cause the best movies sell the most tickets and make the most money. And the last thing I will say is i get that Red Dawn wasn’t as good as the 80′s version but the point of it is to show why we have our second amendment right to bear arms. That movie was a political statement that needed made.

    • @James Plank

“Cause the best movies sell the most tickets and make the most money.”

Although I agree with that statement to tell you the truth, I wouldn’t be so confident in believing it if I was you. Most people who comment on this website think the complete opposite because apparently films that flop big time(here’s looking at you DREDD)are always considered “masterpieces”. I guess that’s what happens when ignorant individuals are free to write whatever it is they want even if it makes them look stupid. They might even attack you for what you believe so watch out man.

      • I’d say it goes both ways. Some good movies flop and some do great and some bad movies flop and others do great. Then agian it is only an opinion, whether a movie is good or bad.

        • scott pilgrim 81% on RT imo a great movie. it made $47 million worldwide and was considered a flop.
fantastic mr fox 93% on RT imo perfect movie. it made $46 million worldwide
beverly hills chihuahua 41% on RT I only saw parts on tv, lame. $94 million in the us alone
twilight new moon 27% on RT imo pretty boring movie. $296 million in the us alone
transformers 2 21% on RT I hated that movie. $400 million in us grosses alone.

it goes both ways… sadly some terrible movies do fantastically at the box office while other lesser known films are great but go unnoticed by the masses.

    • “And the last thing I will say is i get that Red Dawn wasn’t as good as the 80′s version but the point of it is to show why we have our second amendment right to bear arms. That movie was a political statement that needed made.”

So the average American needs assault rifles and high powered weapons available from K-Mart incase North Korea invades? Better get in touch with all the nations who have strict gun regulations to be on the look out for The Red Menace.

    • I stopped having any respect for his critical opinion when he began talking about John Carter.

  2. You know what would be the perfect top up to the Batman facial composition model? If he had Kevin Conroy’s voice.

  3. they need to do pranks with that flying sumperman thing XD

  4. Why do so many people pick on Eddie Murphy for choosing bad scripts? It’s not his fault these films are bad, it’s the people who get away with writing them in the first place.

As far as the “John Carter guy” didn’t anyone see his career going nowhere when he chose was to be a part of one of FOXs’(again)worst comic book films X-Men Origins?

    • It’s not Murphy’s fault? He doesn’t read the scripts? Maybe he should, if he doesn’t already.

  5. I guess “Stan the Man” doesn’t believe in making cameos for his more darker themed characters’ movies. Where was he in Punisher, Punisher:War Zone,Blade,Blade II, Blade Trinity,Ghost Rider, & Ghost Rider:Spirits of Vengeance? What’s the matter…….Stan can’t handle rated R films? HAHAHA!!

    • It could have something to do with that fact that blade punisher and ghost rider are all published under marvel knights, Idk I’m just saying

        What the heck is this?!!!!!

        • It’s called you being a di-k all the time. It’s usually well earned and well deserved. I commend you. *slow clapter*

          • Lol…”The Truth” my…assumption of your topical high-ground seems to exist ONLY in your own mind. Good for ScreenRant. :)

      • @Gooch

To tell you the truth I don’t know what you are saying. Maybe if you learn how to express yourself more clearly then other people wouldn’t think you were such an (insert any curse word you like). Last time I checked Stan wasn’t under contract as a “payed actor” with anybody which means he can come & go as he pleases. Oh & by the way “GENIOUS” Punisher: War Zone and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance are the only two that were published under that brands’ name.

    • i think ‘stan the man’ just cameos in the movies for characters he has created. just my two pennies

      • Exactly.

        • however he didnt make the hulk, Ang Lee did…..

however he did make Ant-Man ;) and I can understand not appearing in ghost rider, and daredevil and blade were before his other cameos

          • He was supposed to cameo in the first Blade, but there was scudding conflicts

            • *Scheduling

  6. That Star Trek Blooper real was really bust cracking. At 8:34, I thought that reaction from P. Stewart was because J. Frakes silently f*rted. As for Brent Spiner’s reaction, when transported on M.Dorn’s shoulder later on, I just busted a gut when Frakes got that line wrong, poor Brent showed his wrist at him, as if : “You dumb*ss, can you imagine how uncomfortable it is to be hoisted up like this… and thanks to you, I gotta go through that AGAIN!?” Good times.

  7. Gollum Rap was awesome!

  8. yeah dude “the truth” you need to take a chill pill man. alot of your comments are pointlessly aggressive. it really ruins the mood when we just wanna come on here and discuss cool new movies.

  9. Is it me or does the Batman mash up look like Tim Daly?

    • Yes, it does…a bit.

  10. Ha HA! Those Superman VS Goku videos are great, as are the mash-up of Stan Lee cameos. He should play bigger roles since he’s often saving people in most of his cameos. Go Stan Lee!!

  11. Stan had a cameo in 16 movies. It’s really great that directors make sure that he has a cameo in any movie based on a character that he helped create. It’s a shame that Jack Kirby didn’t live long enough.

  12. I was proposed this site by my personal cousin. I am will no longer positive whether or not this submit can be written by using him since no one else recognize such unique approximately my personal problem. You are wonderful! Thanks a lot!
