I’ll see it just because it’s rambo and how can you stay away from that. Love all the Rambos and hope that the 5th isn’t as cheesy as it first sounded.

OH and @ anthony,,

RAMBO can not end happy, that is not a happy character lol. that is a man filled with turmoil, rage, and pain.
the very fact 4 ended the way it did with a character that should be so f-ed up in the head was the worst part of an overall good film. when an entire franchise has consisted of torture and revenge i think it would be a joke to hand rambo a happilly ever after ending

i like the sacrifice plot, it would fit better.

I have some issues. On the last Rambo flick he finally leave the jungle and decides that enough is enough and to bring closure to the character Stallone makes Rambo go back to the USA, and to his parents house, walking up that long driveway and thats it. I have no problem with that at all. BUt now hes back running a black ops team to fight the BEAST. When we watch this new Rambo V flick are we supposed to not think about how the last Rambo ended? Sounds like you have to, especially when you watch the Superman Returns flick. You had to forget 3 and 4 were ever made. Im a Rambo fan like all of you im just confused a bit especially with bringing the character full circle and all in the last 1.

AWFUL! I love Rambo and seeing him kickass across the World against oppressor’s and evil dictators but fighting against some kind of scientific experiemnt gone wrong, wtf? That is so cliche and there are thousands of other B-Movies out there like that.

I wanted to see more of Rambo’s story, his personality, where he grew up and his interaction with his family. Then kick more ass locally against gangs, traffickers, drug lords. Actual problems that are affecting the U.S and the world today. Rocky 5 going back to his roots andh is interaction with his family was great and a fitting ending, why not the same with Rambo.

Sounds similar to the predator……. i mean rambo wiil probably have a group of soldiers with him beign killed by the beast 1 by 1….. and he will be the one to kill the beast… i hope they change it up a little, maybe 2 or 3 guys surive or if they are going to end the series, he sacrifices himself… something like that……

yeah very interesting that they are planning another Rambo film. I really liked the last one and wasn't sure that I would. From the early description, it sounds like it may be heading back to the original rambo style, more stealth and not so much guns blazing, so yeah I'm interested to see where they will take this. It does sound like Apoc Now.
Military needs an expert in black ops to take out a rogue/super soldier.

I’m sure Rambo will have a boat load of solders with him that get picked off as they get closer to the end.

I’ll prob see it anyways,,,,

I don’t see where this falls under the banner of Science Fiction. If its demonstrable its science fact in a work of fiction, just as movies with submarines, jets, and cars that drive themselves would be.
