You must be in the same mood I'm in today Rob. Here's my new found toy: http://www.seaorbiter.com/videos

This one even DR. Quest would love. http://66.83.181.250:8080/db/ussubs/live/submar...

someone already made this same thing after iron man... this guy doesn't deserve the credit for being the first at all..
  • Wow, that is cool. I'm sure someday everyone will be having one of this things...in the military.

Speaking of X-Men, I just found out Brett Ratner is coming to my campus to talk! If I get there early enough (which I will), I will be able to ask him one question (and maybe get an autograph).

    What should I ask him?
And I am being completely serious (he is coming on Tuesday)!
  • Evan
Ask him why he killed Cyclops and Professor X.
  • jwalka
as cool as it is i bet the staff will get rid of his video as it teaches kids how to make a harmful weapon
non the less, it is a pretty cool device, wouldnt mind one of those for christmas hehehe
  • Huggybear
    Pretty, prettyyyyyy, pretttttyyyyyyyyyy good. :)
  • MarcusFenix09
I dont think most kids would know how to even make one of these things...It would be better as a military app.
  • Paul Young
@Josh s - Ask him if he read our response to his comments and if he feels X3 did well because of "The Waffle House Effect" :)
  • @ Taylor,

Someone made Iron Man's repulsor? Video Please :)

Iron Man doesn't shoot fire so I'm curious.
  • @ the old man,

Wow, how much would those cost?
  • the_old_man
Only 50 to 80 million, barely a movie budget these days. The value of the data they could gather is worth way more than a dozen movies and the Imax films you could make around them would pay for them. The ROI might take more than a couple of years but they are, believe it or not, some of the first steps in a grand plan to conquering the Galaxy...
  • 50-80 million, not bad.

Take me for a ride when you get one, eh?
  • John "Kahless" Taylor
    @Rob
In IM, the Mark 1 did have a flame thrower.
  • the old man
You bet Rob meet me there next week. If you miss me just tell them I said you could take it out... :-P
  • BlueCollarCritic
I relaize the dangers involved here with something like this as I use to work with pyro themed props in the Magic industry. But I gotta say this kid gets serious props for putting something like this together even if it is potentially dangerous. This kind of creative thinking is what will prdocue the next generations great minds. If I were this kids dad I certainly would be worried and tell him so but I also would be as proud as any father can be and you can bet I'd be showing everyone and syaing "thats my kid who built that thing".
  • Richard
Dude! That's awesome, I'd inevitably screw up and flame my face right off.
  • Mark 1, lol

C'mon Kahless, I'm talking about the real suit, not the armored truck he wore in one scene :p
  • This is amazing, guys, check out his other vids as well.
Soon the sci fi will become sci reality...
I've made a Iron Man gauntlet with the same wrist lever...
    http://www.youtube.com/user/zabocaman#p/a/u/2/b...
and I'm looking forward to making others, but nothing like this guy's Pyro set up. Amazing work.
  • BlueCollarCritic
    @zabocaman

The guy just needs to add the sound effect bit and he'd probably get some takers on his item.

BTW - Unlike with the Pyro item which rquires some not so easy to see mechanics this Iron man gauntlet is something that will nicely made and good looking is something you can see how he did it and so it's less of a wow verses a "well done".
