Sorry Rob, I'm gonna have to be the Grinch again on these. There's some good work on his Flickr page and I do like the Tron Legacy poster, but the question you have to continually ask with any graphic design is WHY? Why that typeface? Why that composition? Why those colours, those filters, that Art Deco style? I know they're only a bit of fun, but based on those images would you actually want to visit any of these places?? If his intention was to evoke the feel of a 1930s travel poster then why the drab colours, for a start? Or is he just pushing recognition buttons randomly in the viewer's head? OR (surely not) are geometric shapes just a doddle to produce with Illustrator/whatever software package he's using? That fourth one down, for example: remove the words "The Dagobah System" and replace them with "The Death Star" and I guarantee you'd still get people oohing and aahing about how clever it is.

The guy seriously needs to look at his letterspacing as well. The first H of "HOTH", the As of "DAGOBAH" and the TAT of "TATOOINE" are all over the place.

I'm more keen on your idea of posters for the Star Wars businesses. "Mustafar Metals: They're Quite Good", or to quote Peter Serafinowicz doing his Ben Kenobi impression: "Mos Eisley Spaceport. It's a f***ing s***hole."
