As one of the world’s most popular and successful franchises, Harry Potter has been known to cause a certain delirium in its fans. At the sight of Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and the other stars of the films, they just can’t help themselves from getting all riled up. Of course, there’s a difference between fan and fanatic. I humbly submit the following video clips from the Japanese comedy show, Sanma Akashiya’s “Karakuri Terebi.”
In the videos, Kana, a Japanese Harry Potter fan, gets a surprise meeting Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. Needless to say, she gets excited. Very excited. To be honest, I’m surprised at how well both Radcliffe and Grint handle the adulation. I can’t say I would react as graciously. On the other hand, I’m not a millionaire actor with millions of fans all over the world.
