We here at Screen Rant are here to cater to you, the reader. Now, that doesn’t mean that I’m going to be bringing over any freshly baked ice cream cone cupcakes (remember those? Awesome.), but that does mean that we like to hear from you about what you like, what you don’t, what you watch and what you’d like to see more coverage about.

Over the past few weeks of the fall season premiere, we have played around with reviews and discussions on a variety of television shows – and while some received the expected responses (Stargate, Flashforward, Smallville), others did not (CSI, CSI:NY, Criminal Minds, MythBusters). And then there were some shows that nobody expected to receive the amount of response it did (Ghost Whisperer).

If we went with writing about the top rated shows, we’d be left with this…

Dancing with the Stars
NCIS: Los Angeles
The Mentalist
Grey’s Anatomy
Desperate Houeswives
CSI: Miami
The Good Wife

While I know a couple Screen Rant writers that just love Dancing with the Stars, we’re not sure that you’d want to read about it. I’m not going to lie, we watch our fair share of television and that means we have the ability to cover many of your favorite shows. The only thing is, we don’t know what you favorite shows are or if you’d want to read more reviews/recaps/discussions of those shows. So, instead of staying the course and writing about shows that are our favorites, we’d like to know what yours are.

If you could list the top 5 shows you’d like to see recaps and discussions on, what would that be? Now we’re not talking about regular news. If James Earl Jones decides to join Cougar Town, you’ll probably hear about it.

For all you manly men out there, don’t’ be afraid to say The Hills or The City. Sure, we’ll mock you for it, but this is all about being open and honest and from my experience there’s usually fair amount of mocking in being open and honest. Especially when it’s about your favorite MTV scripted “realty” TV shows.

So, what have you? What 5 shows would you like to see recaps and discussions on?

  2. @Gregan

“I know like about a hundred of people who wants it back personaly!”

Yes, they all seem to be posting here.

  3. DEFYING GRAVITY! c’mon guys, it was awesome!

  4. Defying Gravity! and as a second Stargate Universe

  5. only Defying Gravity!

  6. To Joshi – No thats not them i think.

  7. I know, I was making a joke…

  8. o joshi: Yeah, the last few comments :D

  9. Last few? There are 3 pages of comments here and at a guess, I’d say about 5% of those comments said anything OTHER than Defying Gravity.

  10. SG-U is so far quite boring. They are still on the ship and nothing serious is happening.

  11. I know the people that wrote like the four last comments abou DG. And im realy happy to see that some people didnt forget the show.

  12. Joshi

someone mentioned before that Screen Rant was used as a link to help bring back the show so that’s why a bunch of people were directed here to vote for it.

  13. @M-Cat

Yeah I know. I’m still nonplussed as to why they think posting on here with help the show any.

  14. Well i was just looking for any way to support the show.

  15. Yeah they are just supporting the show and I support it as well. Anything helps but I don’t understand why you are so against it Joshi. Give these guys a break if it’s a show they love.

  16. I’ve nothing against the show at all, I just don’t see how posting here is really supporting it.

  17. Defying Gravity… ABC has blown it for me… I have no desire to start watching any new series on ABC network again.
They canceled one of the best shows they have ever aired after 8 episodes. As of now, I consider ABC to be a trash
Network with NO CLUE of what they are doing.

Bring back DEFYING GRAVITY on SyFy network or somewhere else worthy of its greatness.

  18. Defying Gravity.

  19. @M-Cat

I agree with Joshi, it’s just gotten to the point where it’s annoying. It’s not supporting the show at all by posting on here, all it is causing is me getting notifications in the mail so I think it’s a post worthy of reading, and it’s always just “Defying Gravity!!!!1111″

  20. Defying Gravity! Why do all the interesting shows get canceled? I’ve been streaming DG from Canada. We really don’t need another ‘America’s next top fatass’ or whatever else is on lately.

  21. Defying Gravity, is such a great show, the characters, the story arc’s, the honesty, I cried when I saw the last episode, not because it was over, but rather the fact it was such a beautiful production and story.

  22. Bring back Defying Gravity. I love the show, the stories are great, and the characters are great.

  23. Oh hey, look, Defying Gravity, what a surprise this is when I got a notification in my email for this…

  24. Defying gravity? Never heard of it. Is it some B movie? :)

  25. LOL, instigator… :-P

  26. You know the irony is, at some point, one of us is going to go out and try and watch an episode or two to see what all the fuss is about and come back disappointed (not because I’m sure it’ll be bad, but because unless it’s the greatest science fiction show in the world ever, it’ll never live up to the greatness all these people have painted it with).

  27. Nah, I don’t have much time even for the shows I already have an interest in. There’s very little chance I will go out and watch someone else that I don’t already have an interest in…

  28. Yeah, same here. I was almost going to watch it until I read a synopsis somewhere and found I wasn’t interested. Go figure.

  29. Defying Gravity has to be one of the most interesting and unique shows I have seen in ages. Fantastic story, lots of mystery and intrigue, with a good pace that keeps you hooked without losing or boring you. Has the right balance between mystery and revelation. Would love to see this show continue as originally planned out by the creators. Its so good to see a TV show with direction, and not just a show that is being written from week to week. Such a shame it was cancelled without being given a real chance. Maybe it should have had more promotion. Highly recommend this show.
