We here at Screen Rant are here to cater to you, the reader. Now, that doesn’t mean that I’m going to be bringing over any freshly baked ice cream cone cupcakes (remember those? Awesome.), but that does mean that we like to hear from you about what you like, what you don’t, what you watch and what you’d like to see more coverage about.

Over the past few weeks of the fall season premiere, we have played around with reviews and discussions on a variety of television shows – and while some received the expected responses (Stargate, Flashforward, Smallville), others did not (CSI, CSI:NY, Criminal Minds, MythBusters). And then there were some shows that nobody expected to receive the amount of response it did (Ghost Whisperer).

If we went with writing about the top rated shows, we’d be left with this…

Dancing with the Stars
NCIS: Los Angeles
The Mentalist
Grey’s Anatomy
Desperate Houeswives
CSI: Miami
The Good Wife

While I know a couple Screen Rant writers that just love Dancing with the Stars, we’re not sure that you’d want to read about it. I’m not going to lie, we watch our fair share of television and that means we have the ability to cover many of your favorite shows. The only thing is, we don’t know what you favorite shows are or if you’d want to read more reviews/recaps/discussions of those shows. So, instead of staying the course and writing about shows that are our favorites, we’d like to know what yours are.

If you could list the top 5 shows you’d like to see recaps and discussions on, what would that be? Now we’re not talking about regular news. If James Earl Jones decides to join Cougar Town, you’ll probably hear about it.

For all you manly men out there, don’t’ be afraid to say The Hills or The City. Sure, we’ll mock you for it, but this is all about being open and honest and from my experience there’s usually fair amount of mocking in being open and honest. Especially when it’s about your favorite MTV scripted “realty” TV shows.

So, what have you? What 5 shows would you like to see recaps and discussions on?

  1. Defying Gravity.

  2. I really think it is the best new show on television in the last few seasons and I think its fans are just pissed that ABC is giving up on it so soon.

  3. Defying Gravity.

Those who don’t know what Defying Gravity is please educate yourselves and watch it. Trust me you’ll love it.

Unfortunately Reality shows are cheaper since you don’t need writers or actors, just the dregs of society.

  4. I’ll say it as much as others on here already have:
    Defying Gravity!

Recent fan and I loved it. I too watched it online due to no television. Do they even know how many people catch it on there?

Plus: Lost, Big Bang Theory, Greek, and Smallville.

  5. Defying Gravity!

    Chuck !

    Doll House

  6. LOL, it’s starting to get funny actually. Maybe we should go to a firefly forum and post a link so all of a sudden all the votes will go to an older cancelled show. I’ll find the Rome forum to advertise this thread on…

  7. Should we try and get an Arrested Development forum in on this as well? How about My Name is Earl. Veronica Mars!

Not that I’m actually going to do this, I’m just saying.

  8. Why not? Not like Vic won’t want the extra visitors…

  9. Nothing to do with that, I just think it’s funny to think about but I’m too lazy to do it. By all means, if you want…

  10. I bring new meaning to the word lazy! lol, just kidding. I’m going on vacation in 2 days, but maybe if I get bored one night… 😛

  11. Well I’ve got a cold today and I’m still going in to work tomorrow!

Wait… that’s the opposite of your thing isn’t it?

  12. Defying Gravity please, please, please

  13. Defying Gravity!!!! That show was awesome I really want to know what will happen when they go back to Mars!!!!

  14. Defying Gravity

  15. Definatly Defying Gravity. Now sure why the viewing was so low I just found out about the show near the eleventh episode and am now caught up. Maybe lack of promotion. Great show, great promise. Hate to see it canceled after just finding out about it and loving it.

  16. Lets hear some more about Defying Gravity, Stargate Universe, NCIS, Psych, and Eurika.

  17. Oh PLEASE get rid of all the “reality” crap (never watched it, never will) and bring back DEFYING GRAVITY. I liked the show from the start. Granted, it WAS a little slow for the first 2-3 weeks, but certainly not so slow that my interest was not piqued. In the end, the first few episodes laid good groundwork for what was to come. Unfortunately, by the time we got to eps. 11/12/13 and the story line was getting REALLY interesting – it got yanked! (I watched 9-13 on “Space” because the networks, in their infinite wisdom were going to save the rest for some future date……. yeah, right!) I think CTV and ABC made a HUGE mistake. Really HUGE – and I’m extremely upset about this. (OK – nobody is going to care, I’m just venting!)

  18. will you people STFU about defying gravity! it was a MEDIOCRE show for God’s sake. Get over it.

  19. Certainly Defying Gravity, which has been forgotten too much.

  20. I Love Defying Gravity, I am not a big SciFi fan, but I so love this show. Please don’t let this show get cancelled

  21. I really like Veronica Mars too

  22. Well SR, the consensus is in, you should really think about covering that cancelled show Defying Gravity. Shouldn’t be too hard really, you just have to write an article every week detailing how you feel about the fact that it’s not on the air.

  23. Let’s have more of Defying Gravity!
There is currently no sci fi show that matches this one.

  24. Umm, I think Joshi’s got a point. LOL :)

  25. Defying Gravity has both great character and plot development. The fact that it started slowly is a virtue.
Our household loves the show and wants it to continue.

Or at least get us the rest of the story in a book format.
