Hot Toys has debuted a first look at the Green Goblin sixth scale figure from Spider-Man: No Way Home. Green Goblin/Norman Osborn is played by Willem Dafoe in the film, a role he originally had in 2002's Spider-Man starring Tobey Maguire from director Sam Raimi. In that film, Green Goblin is killed at the end, but he's brought back by way of the multiverse in Spider-Man: No Way Home, where he once again takes up his villainous ways, this time against Tom Holland's Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently the number one film at the box office, having just surpassed Jurassic World and The Lion King to be the sixth-highest-grossing movie of all time. Directed by Jon Watts, No Way Home brings back Holland's Spider-Man/Peter Parker, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. In addition, the film features stars from previous Sony Spider-Man films, including Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Rhys Ifans, and Thomas Haden Church, reprising their villain roles from prior films in the series.

Today, Hot Toys has announced a new addition to their sixth-scale figure collection with Spider-Man: No Way Home's Green Goblin. The intricately detailed figure is the first villain figure from Hot Toys for No Way Home and features 30 points of articulation, newly developed head sculpt of Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborn, a newly crafted green goblin helmet, a skillfully tailored costume with armored pieces painted in metallic green color, complete with three pumpkin bombs and a figure stand. The Deluxe version of the figure comes with an LED-battery powered glider with green lights and purple trim. Take a look at some images below:

The Green Goblin suit has been a controversial one since its debut in the original Spider-Man, with many likening it to a "Power Rangers" suit, given it's similarities in design to costumes on that show. Dafoe recently addressed the costume criticisms, particularly with the mask, discussing its impact on how Green Goblin would look in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Green Goblin only wears the mask in his introduction in the film, as he shatters it later in the film, before revamping the overall look of the character for the final act.

Hot Toys makes some of the most amazing and intricately detailed sixth-scale figures on the market, and this version of the Green Goblin looks to be another fine addition to their line-up. However, it's interesting that they went with the older style costume, rather than the newly revamped version, which some have argued to be a more comics-accurate variation of the Green Goblin suit. Perhaps Hot Toys will release that version as well, but for now, fans can pick up the classic version, which is still a sharp and detailed representation of the iconic villain in both Spider-Man (2002) and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
