The latest international promo for Spider-Man: Homecoming offers a sneak peek at the many abilities of Peter's new suit. As with any superhero movie, the suit Spidey wears in his upcoming film has been the source of much scrutiny. Interestingly, it borrows the most from classic comic book elements while also mirroring the latest iteration of Peter's threads. From the expressive eyes to the web wings to the smaller symbol, the Spidey we saw in Captain America: Civil War looked very much like the classic Steve Ditko take on the character. As we've learned from marketing for Homecoming, however, it's equipped with plenty of new tech.

Tom Holland has called the suit the best iPhone ever, and we've heard about a number of its new abilities. From a built-in A.I. to a variety of web shooters, the new suit borrows heavily from the current comic run where Spidey's suit takes a number of queues from Tony Stark. While Peter Parker isn't quite at that level in the MCU yet, it makes sense that Stark himself actually upgraded the costume. Now, a new look at Homecoming offers a few more teases as to what we can expect from Pete's newest duds.

Sony Pictures has released another international sneak peek for Spider-Man: Homecoming that puts the spotlight on Peter's new suit. Essentially, it's a shorter variation of the final Homecoming trailer for the film that opened with the cell phone footage of Peter during his airport battle in Captain America: Civil War. This promo, however, also shows off the new suit in its case, before launching into the film's major action beats.

Spider-Man springs into action from the Spider-Man Homecoming Poster

The new Homecoming sneak peek also spotlights Spidey's A.I., while also showing us some of his new web-shooter styles, like the Ricochet Web. Again, it's a blending of bleeding edge tech with classic Spidey lore. In the comics, Spider-Man can come up with all sorts of web combos, but only the more recent comic book stories have provided any logical (or technological) explanation for his suit's abilities.

It's that combination of the old and new that has fans so excited for Homecoming. While audiences eagerly await the release of Homecoming, Marvel and Sony have been going hard on the marketing front. This is only the latest international Homecoming trailer, and there have been more Homecoming TV spots than we can count.
