In an unprecedented deal between Sony and Marvel Studios, Spider-Man finally joined his fellow Marvel Comics heroes on the big screen in Captain America: Civil War. To the surprise of no one, Marvel knocked it out of the park, and Tom Holland wowed viewers with a performance that even creator Stan Lee is calling the definitive Peter Parker. Since then, anticipation has been at an all time high for the hero’s return to his own solo films.

With the production of Spider-Man: Homecoming now underway, there’s been no shortage of casting news, Joining Tom Holland and Marissa Tomei are Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Michael Barbieri, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Kenneth Choi, Martin Starr, and Logan Marshall-Green.

With Homecoming set photos steadily trickling onto the net, we’ve finally gotten to catch a glimpse of Peter Parker’s new world, the logo for his High School, The Midtown School of Science and Technology, and his fellow classmates in action. CBM has now revealed even more Homecoming set photos found on the SpideyCentral Tumblr account.

Spiderman Civil War Spider Man: Homecoming Set Photos Highlight Peters Peers & Teachers

The pictures include Martin Starr (Silicon Valley) who is looks to be playing a teacher at the school. Laurra Harrier (One Life to Live) and Abraham Attah (Beasts of No Nation) appear to be playing Peter’s fellow students. Kenneth Choi (The Wolf of Wall Street) also was present playing the school principal. A possible new addition to the ensemble is Garcelle Beauvais (White House Down), who CBM asserts is the woman next to Laurra Harrier in the first image.

Since the tone for the film was pitched by director Jon Watts (Cop Car) as John Hughes-ian in nature, it’s a safe bet that Peter’s classmates and school faculty are going to have a much more prominent role in this film than any of the previous Spider-Man films.

Whether or not this increasingly high profile lineup have more than small supporting roles in Spider-Man: Homecoming remains to be seen. Nevertheless, it’s good to know that Tom Holland is going to have a stellar line-up backing his first solo foray as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
