Matt, one of the commenters here at Screen Rant mentioned a few days ago that despite reports to the contrary, Tobey Macguire had stated that if Sam Raimi and the rest of the gang return for Spider-Man 4, that he (Tobey) would as well. Most of the movie sites have been stating recently that Macguire was in fact NOT interested in a fourth Spider-Man movie, period.
Well today there’s confirmation that Macguire said that over at SciFiWire. (So Matt, who is YOUR source?)

“Well, it’s possible that we make another movie, it all depends on if there’s a story worth telling. …if they come up with a good movie, and the whole team wants to get back together, and we feel like we can make a good movie that’s worth making, then I’m up for it.”
I don’t think we should expect production to start on another as soon as Spider-Man 3 hits theaters, though. I’m betting everyone is feeling the need for a break, and that Raimi has other projects he’d like to work on.

i heard a rumor that spiderman4 villians will be carnage and the lizard.

well if they do have carnage which i bet they will why would they put the lizard man in the movie it just doesn’t fit with carnage being in it they should just you know like have spider-man venom and carnage in the movie just fighting it out like in the comics that would really make the fans happy im thinking any way

I think 4 would be great! With all the same cast…but If their going to make 4,and 5 they need to bring some of the important villians that had a real impact in the cartoon series and in the orginal comics.Kidna Like a matrix 2,and 3 thing with each of the separate movies mixing together to make one big spider-man film.
