I’ve already made a post about some of my fave TV shows. Besides I just said that South Park was good in the begining it just got worn out and old there is nothing outrageous , line crossing, original or innovative about it anymore. It’s the risk that every show like this runs. It’s Always Sunny in Phili is starting to drain as well and that’s one of my fave shows. You can only be a risky show for so long till you just become another show.

I havn’t laughed at a South Park Episode in 4 years and even then it was rare. The show got old after the 4th or 5th season. The only point of the show is to see how far the can push offensiveness. It’s reached the point that they can’t really go any further in their current situation being on Basic cable. The show has no purpose any more. However no matter how unfunny or pathetic it has gotten it still is better than The Simposons which has simply become a show about cramming political ideas down the throats of the public with one unfunny joke or two thrown in.

Yeah I can’t even watch the n##### guy ep with any of my white friends. That one was just…wow.

Chef’s Death was also pretty brutal.

I didn’t even pick up on that! I was so looking at the whole superhero thing to notice! DAMN YOU SOUTH PARK!

But guys, still the WORST thing that show has EVER shown IMHO, is the first five minutes of “Mr. Garrison’s Fancy New Vagina.” (S9 E1)

If you haven’t seen it… Brace yourself.

Sorry, I retract my statement. But it sounds like you’re letting your feelings for Obama color your judgment. I can’t imagine they haven’t done worse than that on the show.

Actually pretty sure the episode is ‘the China Probrem’, for obvious reasons once you’ve seen the shown.

When South Park started I just found it daft and often gross. But as it went on it has gotten better and better.

Episodes like Cartman going to the future and Imaginationland were just too much fun for me as a geek.

Also other characters are much stronger now. Especially Randy. Some of my favourite episodes have him in as a main feature – his ‘drinking sickness’, his need for the internet, getting into fights at baseball.

That was pretty funny, but then most South Park episodes are pretty funny. If Trey Parker and Matt Stone want to, they can keep SP going longer than The Simpsons. As for the episode, I was surprised it wasn’t more vulgar. Pretty tame episode by SP standards.

This was clearly a stab at President Obama. HE is the “super hero” that everyone is hoping will save the day. Notice how they kept mentioning “The Coon” being a symbol? “Coon” is a racial slur against blacks. This was more offensive than any South Park episode that I’ve ever seen. Unfunny and mean spirited.

Argh! Can’t see episodes on that site here in the UK. Not yet anyway. Keeps saying they have issues that they’re working out.

Love South Park, especially when they geek out. Recently saw the Indiana Jones episode, which was all kinds of wrong!
